Electricity is a double-edged sword: it allows us to enjoy all of the modern technological advances and conveniences that we have, but if not properly controlled and carefully managed; electricity may cause a lot of problems: from higher electric bills, to potential electric shock and fires. In the home; electricity flows through wiring, circuits, electrical conduits such as outlets, lighting fixtures, and appliances. These all need to be regularly inspected, repaired and upgraded to cut energy consumption costs, and to avoid any inherent safety concerns.

I had a horrible experience with this company recently. I had them install a Tesla charger which they did. The problem arose afterward when my microwave started malfunctioning. I called them back and the technician told me that the new rewiring was sending more power to the microwave and that id have to buy a new one! This is insane. defeats my reasoning why he told me this.
They had calibrated and done all their measurements, but it seemed to be all smoke and mirrors to give the illusion of professionalism. The whole line along where my microwave is kept on short-circuiting requiring me to reset the breaker. I called the owner who sent his crew over while my wife was home. Before I knew it, they had charged her a warranty call charge and again recommended I replace my microwave, which by now had died.
So on top of having to pay someone to figure out what they messed up, they charged me for a warranty call and I have to purchase a new microwave. Completely insane. The owner insisted that their installation had nothing to do with the issue and that it was just a happy coincidence. This is after his technician admitted to me that the rewiring had resulted in sending more power to the line that had the microwave line. I would stay away from this business as I believe for me it could have been worse. I could be replacing a refrigerator now or worse.

My wife scheduled an estimate for them to install a Tesla connection earlier this year. The good news is that the estimator was on time and very personal. The bad news is that they appear to be busy enough that they are way overestimating compared to everyone else. They were listed first on the Tesla list of electricians so they probably were getting lots of calls.
Our install was super simple and in talking to my friends it sounds like they just hit everyone with a very similar and extremely high quote assuming you won't check against others. This will eventually catch up to them as people use others and then do reviews about this and know they can get the same work done for far less from any of the others on the list.
I know EV sales were high this year but then way over charging will kill the business in the long run. The other two quotes we got were in line with each other for the same job.

These guys are fantastic. From the initial phone call, to the finished install, the communication and professionalism was refreshing. Michael Lashley is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to figure out the right solution. The installers were courteous, professional, and paid great attention to detail. Cannot recommend highly enough for your EV charger needs.

Quite simply, I cannot give higher praise to Wiretech Company and to Michael Lashley, electrical supervisor. I found out about them via a recommendation from Tesla because I needed help fixing a vehicle charger for our Tesla by a Tesla certified electrician. My prior electrician installed the charger but could not get it to charge at the correct rate and that person was not comfortable to help further changing his earlier statement that he was comfortable with Tesla chargers.
It was super easy to get an appointment at my house with Wiretech in under 1 week. They were honest and up front with what I would be charged from the time I booked the appointment. There were no surprises on my bill and I was not over charged. It was very kind of Michael to go back and correct problems left behind by a different contractor. He was brilliant.
Never met an electrician who was that brilliant and talented. He knew about even very small details in terms of what I needed to pass city inspection permit. He educated me on proper charging techniques and handling of charging equipment. He happens to be a great teacher. Within minutes, he was able to fix a malfunctioning door bell chime in the same visit within minutes while my other prior technician was unable to do so in spite of multiple visits and hours of work. I hope to hire Michael and/or his partners from Wiretech anytime I ever need help from an electrician again.

We've used wiretech for years and couldn't recommend them more highly. It's nice to call a local, independently owned company where the owner and staff know you by name as opposed to a call center that isn't even in the same city as you. wiretech has always helped us when we have any electrical issues at our rental properties and has installed lights at our own personal home as well.
