The HOA @ Ventana @ Tustin Ranch would like to commend Three Phase Electric as a whole for the value they brought to our community wide external lighting fixture refresh project. Not only did a representative take time to present and provide guidance to our board members on the offerings of current industry products, they prepared a comprehensive cost proposal that accurately defined the cope of service - start-to-finish.
The service also encompassed sample fixtures to evaluate. It's gratifying to have superb expert service with top tier down customer interface. We are very pleased with the professionalism and performance of Three Phase Electric and would highly recommend their service to anyone with electrical contracting needs.

Worst experience ever. I never post anything but I feel the obligation to share with everyone the lack of work and ownership of quality work with this company to show the severity of their customer service and work. They are cheats and only care about getting paid no matter what the result are. I was forced to use them through my hoa for my assessment and upon arriving they stated they do not have the correct tools.
Now they are saying since they couldn't correctly assess the issue that another visit would be another out of pocket. Beware and do not use them! The ratings on this company are skewed and I am shocked they even got passed 1 star.

I have served on several HOAs as a board member in Orange County. We have used ThreePhaseElectric for many years for maintenance and several large scale projects. The team at ThreePhase is very professional and a pleasure to work with. Always getting back to us in a timely manner. They are very good at what they do and have a very reasonable price that brings good value to the community. The solutions they bring to the table are always great ideas. Jen is a great service rep for us!

I have done work with Three Phase Electric. There on time neat and do a great job. If you look at the negative review on yelp from the individual complaining about lighting you'll see he's not on the board of an HOA. He's a homeowner. But I won't get into that yet. I do sit on a HOA board and I have used them for electrical projects at my home in which I'm commenting as a homeowner.
You can't go wrong with this company. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is their going to be starting a challenging project at my house and when there done, I will update my review and give them that fifth star. If your going to review a company that has done work for your HOA, have the board president write the review otherwise it means nothing.

Just to share some of my experience with Three Phase Electric, we had been using a big name vendor previously. They never had a local office to contact, my phone calls were always directed to a large call center where customer service was clearly not a priority. After giving them several opportunities to serve our property, and finding their service to be disappointing, I tried this company for what we expected to be a challenging mailbox solar light repair.
Not only was their pricing better, but the service received as well as the timeliness of the repair were 100% better than what we had received with the previous company. Since switching to this company, the light repairs have been much quicker and more precise than we had seen previously. A+ on service, A+ on knowledge and consistency of repair.

I'm going to be honest: I don't know how much of the fiasco of our very expensive lighting project is the fault of this company, and how much is the fault of the Board and Mgt that hired them and perhaps chose the design. In the first place, the lighting design is terrible. I don't believe they use the suggestions of the Electrical Illuminating Society, and the lights have excessive glare and are designed and installed right at eye level height.
They actually have made it more difficult to see the path at night. On top of that, several people I know have complained that they shine into their homes. Already they have been changed once, with a translucent shade, but frankly, they still are way too bright and don't illuminate the path correctly. It's a disaster that needs to be corrected, and cost over a quarter million dollars of our dues.
Another issue is that they took way too long to do the job, with not very many people working. One person reported she just saw "one old guy" with a rather battered truck, working with one assistant. This is a huge Association, with more greenbelt than any other Association in Orange County! Trenches were open for a long time, and standing water drew mosquitos, according to some reports.
Anyone doing this type of large job should have well qualified lighting designers to work with owners, and explain what the results will be if certain choices are made. Just installing one light as a sample and expecting people to understand what the effect of dozens of these lights are, is not adequate. Now, our beautiful greenbelts look like an airport landing strip at night!
We have coyotes, and when I walk my dog, I do not think I could see one until it was right on top of us. I know that I can't see other dog walkers, and a bike just about ran us down the other night. In short, in my opinion, not a professional result and a lot of money!

Just wanted to share they finished up a long project at our association and did a fantastic job. We appreciated how clean they were and how their team is, really helpful. They even helped my son learn a little about electrical. They have been doing our association for years, and we have always enjoyed the extra care and timely repairs and value they bring.

Like the person above me DO NOT CALL THEM! If you are an Association get it in writing that they have a timeline! They will bid the lowest and they will cut corners and be the slowest! They do big jobs and say they have a crew working on it and they will send one maybe two people at the most. These poor guys are working for probably minimum wage, to lay at least a mile of conduit. They will give you lip service all the while. You get what you pay for. WHY THROW $$$ away. Get a real company that have professionals.

Consistently failed to meet contract obligations. Work performed months late or not at all, even after multiple requests. Wrong bulbs installed more than once. Fixtures not cleaned regularly. Questionable repairs performed at substantial extra cost w/o prior notification of customer. Hiring this company was more effort and frustration, and much more expensive than paying an electrician $100/hr to change light bulbs. Sorry we ever did business with them.
