I surely wish I had received the customer service that most people bragged on. I went in with a small Emerson fan motor "Stator" removed from case and in hand, wanting some quick/dirty expertise assistance in determining which way to go with my project. Unfortunately, I felt like I was being treated like my motor wasn't big enough for his help. Sorry, that's just the impression I received.
A little time, talk and knowledge sharing would've gone a long ways to help me. Instead, just labor rate of $70./hr. plus price goes up from there for rewinding and other stuff. Obviously, not worth his time. Well, on the other hand, maybe he didn't like the color of shirt I was wearing or maybe my face covering. Who knows? Everybody has bad days.

When a motor on my hottub went out recently I brought it here and Johnny quickly diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately for me the motor is no longer manufacturerd and the part needed is not available anymore. Johnny had a similar replacement motor in stock, mounted it to my pump and had me on my way the next day all for an extremely affordable price. Great experience!

I have done business with Johnny here at Fox Brothers in the past. Lightning struck pool pump 7 years ago. I thought I had heard that they had closed. Was so HAPPY to find them open today. My pool pump motor didn't start yesterday morning. It got really hot. I disconnected it last night and to my surprise the shaft turned freely. I suspected the capacitor and asked my wife to run it by their shop.
I spoke with Johnny and he said she could wait while he diagnosed it. He found the capacitor to be bad, but was out of the part and it's back ordered. He went in the back and found an old motor with a good capacitor and put it on our motor for FREE. You can't beat that kind of service. Thanks Fox Brothers. and Johnny.

I purchased a new motor for the blower fan in my AC unit. Not only did they find a good replacement for my burnt out motor, but they were kind enough to explain exactly how to re-wire the new motor. After explaining the wiring as I found it on the burned up motor, Johnie explained to me that it was done wrong and was probably the cause of the motor burning up in the first place. Set me straight on how to rewire it, now I am sittin' pretty with my AC back on. Good people, good service.
