This was not an easy task, with questionable attic space, vaulted ceiling and wood beam Good communication. Pete's pre-installation help via emails was a big help. As well as Meagan's phone support. Since installing ceiling fans in 1999, Armes has been my go to Electrical Contractor. Today I had a whole house fan installed in the attic by Armando and his assistant and once again fantastic job. Great and polite attitude, efficient and explained process, operation best practices. They have previously installed outside security lights, indoor lights, added outlets, wired shed and five ceiling fans. They always take extra care for set up and clean up and each installer is so polite and also have great sense of humor. Highly recommend.

We are relocating our AC and had Armes run all of the new electrical wiring. Technicians are great, owner is great, I'll definitely be using them for anything out of my skill level in the future!

I had a wonderful experience with everyone I've dealt with at this company. The owner (Pete) was extremely nice and gave excellent advice when he came out to bid the job, and the electrician who let the crew that performed the actual work (Marcus) was also a consummate professional. Everyone was clean, thorough, considerate, and went above and beyond.

I really can't say enough great things about this company. I've used them many times and every single electrician that has come out has been wonderful to work with. They are kind, courteous, fair, do a good job and clean up with great detail when the work is completed. Pete (the owner) is also very fair and easy to work with if you have any questions or concerns. His customer service is top-notch and you will always feel like the services you received were done right at an extremely fair price.

I had a good experience both times I used Armes Electric. The electricians that performed the repairs on my home were on time, professional, and take the time to explain the problems I had. The repair cost seemed fair for the services they performed. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

These guys here are who you call the real electricians. Pete has crews that are very knowledgeable and professional. Pete stopped by to see what the work entails before the scheduled date to make sure they will be fully prepared. The crew arrived on time, did their job efficiently, and left the house clean. There will be all these electricians who will quote you lower price on thumtack, and whatnot. But you get what you pay for. Yes they are not the cheapest companies you can find, but they will complete the job the correct way. I will be using them again in future.

I contacted Armes Electric to help me fix the wiring in the kitchen/dining areas. Pete came to my house, listened carefully to what needed to be done and set up the date for repair. His daughter Megan helped me obtain all the permits and called for the inspection. The crew of 4 people came at 8 am sharp as promised and worked non-stop all day. They fixed all the wiring in two days. Very professional people. If you're looking for a good electrical company, go with Armes Electric.

Rehired Marcus and team at Armes for a chandelier installation. Another A+ experience end to end. They take safety seriously, drilled the reinforcement wire to the roof. Hardware was installed to spec and neatly organized. Very happy with the result and would rehire Armes on any project requiring a professional to do the job and do it right.

The power in our kitchen was intermittent causing our fridge to switch off. Armed Electric was out the next day to repair the outlets and make it safe. They came back a week later to secure the rest of our outdated, hazardous outlets. They were fast, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. We will definitely go with them again for our electrical work!

I used Armes back in 2014 for a routine job. I had an urgent need to fix a power outlet recently. I dug out my old receipt and contacted them. They were extremely polite and understanding of the situation. They told me that they have a heavy workload due to upcoming Labor Day weekend. However, they will try to do their best. Within an hour, they asked if they can come by since a previous job finished earlier. The team showed up, identified the problem and fixed it. Very professionally done. Reasonable pricing. We recently moved into South Orange County and needed to add a number of outdoor electrical outlets and repair some existing electrical work as part of a larger exterior and landscaping project. I called Armes and the gentleman in the office confirmed that Armes performed the services we needed and said that he would pass my information on to the owner Pete as he did all scheduling.

After week without a call back, I called the office again, confirmed my earlier call and the fellow that I spoke with very politely apologized and said that he would get in touch with Pete again and that I should expect a call very soon. Five days later, without a call back from Pete or anybody at Armes, I easily booked the work to be done by another electrician. Customer follow up is obviously very poor. I place high value on communication and meeting commitments, which Armes failed at in this case.

Great customer service and communication. Needed 5 light fixtures installed. They were booked up. I really wanted these installed before a family gathering at my home. David kept me on a call list in case something opened up. I just knew after talking with him they would take care of me. They totally came through! All 5 installed. Electricians were fast, friendly and did a perfect job. I could have probably found another company as I initially had time. But after talking with them, I could tell they cared. Great job! They were wonderful. For medical reasons I reaaaally need my air conditioner to work and of course it stopped working in July during July high heat. After going without and finding out from the AC guy that it was an electrical problem I called Aarmes. They graciously came out almost immediately and got it working within hours. At a very reasonable price. Will call for everything electrical!

The technicians installed two new outlets. One was in an upstairs closet so we could keep our cordless vacuum plugged in and out of the way. The second was in an entryway so that a lamp could be plugged in without having a long cord visible. One job took more time than the other and while one technician worked on that job, the other offered to install the charging station for the vacuum.

Both technicians were friendly, polite, courteous, and skilled! There was a big difference between their professionalism and that of other electricians we have dealt with in the past. We won't hesitate to call Armes Electric again!

I wanted 4 recessed lights installed in my living room ceiling, nice simple job. I called a couple of handymen who both quoted me upwards of $3000 and said it was because there was no crawl space above the ceiling. That seemed unusually high to me, so I called Armes and they quoted me about a third of that. They installed the lights plus a dimmer switch in a couple of hours and I couldn't be happier with the results, I have as much light as I could possibly want and since they're LED they will last quite a while. Thanks very much!

Armes Electric upgraded my service panel and ensured my house was safe with the existing Aluminum wire. They replaced and safely connected all outlets and switches. They managed to run a cable line to a difficult to reach location without a problem. Tyler, who headed up the job at my house, was always on time and kept me informed as the job progressed. He is very professional and very good at his job. Pete, the owner, was very informative and recommended exactly what the house needed. In short, a great company.

We had a LED light fixture that we tried several dimmers and it would not dim & stared flashing. Marcus & Daniel came up with a brilliant solution so we would not have to rip apart the wall to add another wire and saved us a few hundred dollars. The dimmer works great and problem solved. They were here a few minutes early, called ahead to let us know they were on their way, finished the job quickly, cleaned up after. Great service overall and we appreciate the creative solution.

All I've got to say is wow! I unfortunately have a terrible memory for names, so I can't give kudos to the two awesome guys Armes sent out, but they deserve it! I was quoted a total that was more than what I ended up paying, so that for starters was amazing! The guys did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves, and were absolutely so kind.

Proper covid precautions were taken. Replaced a fan/light combo, a LED bathroom light, and installed a new outlet in about 2 hours time. They even cleaned the dead bugs out of an outdoor light/fan for me! Couldn't recommend Armes more!

Scope of work: Partial re-wiring of the house, complete breaker panel upgrade (125A), and new sub-panel for detached garage (70A). I've never seen an army of electricians, but I was amazed that 8 professionals showed up to the house to take care of everything listed above in two days! Each of them was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Pete is very peculiar about who he hires, and it shows. Flawless, safe and to-code work.

New wires were clean, well installed and older circuits in the house were studied prior and respected. Communication is second to none, and they won't hesitate to come talk to you and show you what is happening and if any hurdles are encountered, provided with solutions. They all respected the property and left it clean. To give you a little glimpse of how good they are, the new breaker panel, much bigger than the old one needed to be reframed in the exterior wall, and so some wall studs had to be cut and relocated.

On the other side of that wall is the master bedroom that just had been freshly re-plastered. They removed the exterior stucco with a pneumatic hammer and cut the old studs without disturbing a single wood lath, and without cracking, breaking or damaging the new interior wall. Truly surgical work. So if you have an old, original or historical property and need minimal damage during electrical upgrades, hire them, they are wonderful.

Terrific company that sends out smart electricians. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about our experience today with Armes Electric. The person in the office answered my call and despite the fact that it is Christmas Eve, was able to find a technician who had just finished another job and was able to send him right out to fix our circuit breaker that led to our stove and microwave being non-functioning.

The technician arrived quickly was super friendly and helpful and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. He was actually able to solve the problem in a way that did not require replacement of parts which was very helpful and thoughtful. We have a couple of other nonessential electrical items on our to do list then we will most certainly be calling this company back out to work with us on those after the new year. Thank you for the great service and I'm looking forward to working with your company again very soon.

They installed an outlet for my outdoor TV. They're were in and out in 1 hour including discussing the job, doing the work, cleanup, and writing an invoice. Very neat work. They wore masks. They called and arrived early.

Pete Armes, owner of Armes Electric, is our Christmas hero! Right after Christmas breakfast was cooked, my adult daughter noticed that the refrigerator light had suddenly gone out, and we eventually realized that much of the kitchen's electricity was out. Switching the circuit breaker didn't work, so my husband called Pete, as they had done an excellent job of putting in a new electrical outlet for a new garage opener a year ago. Pete was honest, kind, and gracious to interrupt his own Christmas morning to figure out what was wrong over the phone and SAVED THE DAY!

This was the second time we have been impressed. A year ago, Markus had also been prompt, came out for the bid very quickly, communicated clearly what he would do and returned at a time convenient to us to finish the job extremely well so we could get our garage door in record time. Since we and most of the Saddleback Valley have homes between 40 and 20 years old, it is a nightmare to have an electrical emergency on a holiday. Armes Electric has proven to us several times that they put the homeowner first and that they are impeccable in their trustworthiness and service. We had used other highly regarded electrical companies in the past but we are convinced that Armes Electric is the BEST! Thanks, Pete, Markus, and the staff!
