Since 1949 our business partners and community have trusted Modern Electric Co. for all their electrical needs. We continually strive to provide value through innovative approaches, superior craftsmanship and reliable service. Modern Electric Co. was founded by Robert Dove in 1949. Larry Vignaroli joined Modern in 1958 and served the role of Chief Estimator and Operating Manager until 1961 when he acquired ownership with Robert.

I had a great experience with Modern Electric. I know everyone is busy, but Modern answered the phone when I called them, they came out the same day to look at my project, and give me an estimate, and on the next day, Chris, the electrician, came out and completed the job. I wanted a downstairs bath exhaust fan wired and a timer put on the wall. I thought the limited access would make it challenging, but Chris did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend Modern Electric, and will use them in the future.

Well called them on a Thursday and they didn't show up. Called them back on Friday and they said never dispatched anyone because they were busy. I think they should of at least called back to let us know they were booked. Called back Friday and they did send an electrician named Wyatt. Wyatt was very professional n described everything that was going on. A big thank you to Wyatt. Just disappointed in response from Modern Electric and lack of respect to their customers!

Love Love Love Modern Electric. Dave, Wyatt and Dawn have taken care of our money pit since July 1, 2019. Couldn't have asked for anything more.very caring and very honest and they actually show up when they say they'll be here in the morning! And believe me.we've had lots of mornings! With every other business.it's when we can get to you we will.booked out a month or more!

They might be good for residential, but they are AWFUL and dishonest for commercial. They got paid in advance due to our internal mistake, but job was not completed per customer standards. Had to pay Casper Electric to come back and fix everything. Modern Electric refused to pay money back for what was not done per standards. Don't waste your time with Modern Electric.
Go with Casper Electric if you want things done right for commercial jobs! Let Modern Electric do outlets and lightning in private homes. That is all they are good for! P.S. I have used Casper Electric on other 7-8 projects after, and they are EXCELLENT!

These guys are great! Dawn and Robyn are really good at what they do, great customer service and they got me going right away. They are flexible with payment and very friendly. The technicians got to my place quickly and did a good job and I live in Douglas so it was worth the travel time for them to come out. I would recommend Modern Electric to anyone I come in contact with that needs a good electrical contractor to get the job done and done right for a fair price. Thanks Modern Electric.

Very good work, very knowledgeable electricians, and able to get to work quickly. Only two cons: our can lights they installed are not in line and it is visibly noticeable as you look down the hall. The ones that we installed and they wired are all in line. Also, one of the exit signs they installed has the emergency light activated whenever the hall light is turned on.
The other con is that they did more work than requested, and although that work was done very well, it unexpectedly raised our bill quite a bit. Other than that, they were good: they were able to work with my every request and they kept us well-informed of the local laws and ordinances along the way to make sure we wouldn't be facing fines for doing things incorrectly.
