Services
We specify highest quality, energy efficient and low carbon footprint materials. For example steel conduit instead of PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride conduit). We can test and evaluate old wiring keeping it in service as long as it is safe. We reduce emission's and pollution by using electric, bio-diesel, lightweight vehicles.
Before you call us think about where you want appliances, lights switches and outlets, when rewiring a home it is possible to locate them almost anywhere you want. Look in your basement, crawlspace and attic. Is there lots of stuff in there? Could you fit in those spaces? We need at least 18 of crawlspace under the house.
Yes! However we will not go over our estimated amount without discussing options with you. Yes, if it is not up to the code in effect when the structure was built then it is a hazard. A electrical permit is required for almost all electrical work in the the state of Oregon. Permits are issued to only one person or firm.

Magical. I had a LOT of trouble with other electricians cancelling or doing a poor job during a home renovation but Think was recommended to me right at the point of the most difficult job in my house. Everyone from the estimator to the electricians to the dispatcher are amazing and friendly. I am blown away by how quickly and efficiently they competed the job without doing almost any damage to the drywall or room as a whole (just the bare minimum handful of 3 or 4 inch holes to run the wires across the room). Wouldn't ever use anyone else.

Responsive, professional, and at much lower cost than their competitors estimates.

THINK Electric was highly recommended to me from a friend I trusted with house projects. I also did a quick scan on the NextDoor app and THINK was the most recommended for electrical work in the area. I'd never heard of them, but I gave them a call for a bid on replacing my masthead and the electrical panel. I also asked two other companies for a bid.

The Think bid was not only the most reasonable, but their approach to the replacement made the most sense. I had a good feeling that they would do good work. So glad I followed that instinct. The Think team arrived on time on the set date and worked with a hive mind. They had to cut a hole on my roof to put the new mast in, and it was done with care and professionalism.

The entire job was done and tested before the days end so that eweb could return and rehook up our electric before the evening. The whole job, start to finish, was done with intelligence and care. I then had them install a 220 line for a hotwater pump and an outlet for an oven vent. I almost didn't want to say goodbye. They were actually fun to have around-- if you like smart people. Think is now my go to for anything electric. Highly recommend and totally agree with other 5 star reviews here. Bravo Think! (So perfectly named).

(Note, I also posted this verbatim on Yelp). These guys are great! Think originally upgraded/replaced the electric panel on our house when we bought it 5 years ago and it's worked reliably since. However, today I'm particularly ebullient about them, because, due to the heat wave, I'm installing two mini-split systems (outdoor heat pumps) and an whole house exhaust fan for the attic.

I'm doing it partial DIY (letting HVAC people hook up refrigerant lines). All three units need electrical hookups; the two mini-splits require 220V "disconnect" boxes next to them. Another local electric company wanted too much for the work (IMO) and their process was as bloated as their prices. I honestly figured I'd have to do it myself, because it was cost prohibitive, and just felt too expensive Another company wanted something around that price and told me "I don't aim to be the cheapest, but I aim to be the best".

Hey I just aim to have it done right by competent people at a competitive price. Just when I thought I'd have to spend days I can't spare crawling around in the attic or basement running wire, Forgetting that I'd scheduled a tentative appt. with Think a couple of weeks ago, because they were booked out a bit, the Think guy shows up at the door to estimate/bid on the job.

He seemed super competent, easy going, great attitude. He checked everything out and gave me a ballpark estimate that seemed a lot more reasonable than the other bids. He could start in the morning. Because the price was right and I knew from before they do good work I hired him on the spot. Got here in the morning with all the parts and hustled. Work was just getting done before my eyes.

Every time I looked, things had progressed significantly. I mean he was jamming. He got all three hook ups, on their own circuits done to perfection in about 5 hours and the price tag was right on with the estimate, *way* better than the other two companies I called and saved my economic life and spared me huge headaches. So fortuitous. I'm just completely jazzed.

Can't praise them enough. It was worth it for the peace of mind and confidence it's done perfectly. Next job, I won't even hesitate to call Think. They've done two jobs for us now and no complaints. Surprised there aren't more reviews for them.
