With 22 years of electrical experience, Rick started working for Advent in 1996 as an apprentice. He completed four years of the apprenticeship program and has done everything from push a broom, service tech, lead man, job superintendent, project manager, and estimator. Rick enjoys spending time with his family, serving at his church, and collecting/repurposing old electrical equipment.

Came out to see the house on their time so they would have a good idea of what the work would be like. Good communication from start to finish and work was prioritized and performed early and relatively quickly. Jeff made me feel like a priority client by fitting me into his schedule on short notice twice! I was just a new customer calling about modest sized jobs too. He was even able to send over two of his electricians several days ahead of schedule when they finished a job early. Ron and Steven were quick, knowledgable and professional. We had a job that had the potential to be a cosmetic mess but they figured out a way to minimize the drywall damage. Their pricing was fair for the work but their customer service made it an absolute deal. I've found my electrician in Knoxville and it's Advent Electric Inc!

Electrician that was assigned to our home warranty claim went above and beyond to help us. He informed us our breaker box and meter was getting fairly rotted out and spoke with our home warranty company and was able to get the work order placed for a whole new meter and box under the same work order.

Advent did a great job. Prompt, professional and done right. My scope of work required finishing floor outlets that another electrical contractor did not finish or return calls. Advent also fixed a gfci outlet tripping issue with dual stoplights that was left behind by the other contractor. I am very pleased and will call Advent again for future electrical service needs.

Kevin, and the whole team who came to work on our project, was great! They came out and gave a thorough estimate of cost, materials and time to complete the project. They exceeded our expectations in every aspect of our project. They installed lights and power in a she shed my wife has. It included trenching, running underground pipe and wire, installing an 8' grounding rod, running additional circuits to an existing shed as well as putting up all the actual fixtures.
They came in on time, under budget and passed the electrical inspection with flying colors. They had great communication as well. We couldn't have asked for a better team to take care of what we needed. We have already referred them to a friend of ours who needs an electrician and we would not hesitate to do it again!

Very responsive! They came out and installed a new breaker and ran an underground line to our backyard for a pool. They installed a post with a covered GFI outlet to plug in the pool pump. They completed the job sooner than expected! Professional work at a competitive price. Would definitely use again! Services: Ground wire installation, Electrical outlet & switch installation
