Luedtke Electric has been family owned and operated since 1960. That's when Fred Luedtke's dream of owning his own business became a reality. As with many family businesses, Fred's sons began learning the trade when they were old enough to follow dad around. Now as a third generation company, Todd and his two sons continue in the well-laid tradition of a strong work ethic and a passion for all things that power up, plug in, and provide light.

Services
We have a passion for making lighting and power in new homes attractive, functional, practical, flexible and affordable. We offer professional and amazingly custom install. Our goal is to make available innovative products that will stand the test of time. Communication during construction is a key essential in making your home a very unique environment.
Updating an older electrical service can be beneficial in a number of ways. It will give the ability to add additional circuits for remodeling, new electronics, air-conditioning, or hot tubs. It is also required for resale in many cases. Let us take care of all the arrangements with local utilities and inspectors.
Thank you for all your work. My lights are terrific. I can really see well at each task area or set a mood for entertaining. Just want to send a special thank you for doing a great job in our basement. We appreciate the prompt service and it's so very nice to just be able to flip a switch now. THANK YOU FOR "LIGHTING UP OUR LIVES!"

Luedtke did our electric for our new construction home (April 2016) and everything was good or so I thought. The other day, our garage door would not open due to a circuit breaker shorting out in the garage. I would reset it and it would short out every 3 seconds. Not even 8 months and it shorted out already. Guy comes out the following day and says it's because of all the xmas lights we have.
When we built the house we had an extra switch in our front closet out there to prevent things like this from ever happening. Clearly it was not installed correctly. Besides, the previous two nights before this happened, we did not have the lights turned on. A few days later we get a bill in the mail for $91. We call and talk to a guy( I think name was Brandon but I'm not sure ) and was very rude about it and said it wasn't covered in the warranty.
After being on the phone for a while they finally came to their senses. Living in the area most of my life people have always had good things to say about Luedtke electric, but not today. What good is a company or business that won't even honor a warranty for a brand new home that's less than 9 months old. If we ever get a new home or decide to move again. I would make sure to not use this company.
