If there was a.1 star rating I would give that. GVP has the absolute worst Customer service of any service company I have ever dealt with. Crystal in billing always has a rude attitude and the customer service skills of a child. They will not work with you in anyway. If I could have another power company service me I would. The treatment I have received from GVP over the years has been unacceptable.

3 years ago I gave GVP a five star review. During these turbulent times the GVP ceo and management team have decided not to have a coop member involvement. They are choosing to target the working class by implementing an almost double power rate increase between 4pm to 9pm. No notice, no meeting, no membership input. Shame on you GVP. They have no exption or consideration for Farmers and under new rates are removing acknowledgement of even zoned and actual use of farms. Im proud to change my review but ashamed I am part of this coop a non profit whom does not care about members.

They never sent a bill, and will shut your power off over 130$ bill. Good thing I was at my grandparents house. They were sleeping and it was 100 degrees out and they have health issues. They forgot to pay. They had the money they are just old. And this grand valley electric has a monopoly the place has bad communication and they don't work with people And they they don't warn you

Very curious to me that a company that prides itself as being committed the the general public of the Grand Valley would choose to outsource its billing to St. Louis. Sending the potential financial support and community dollars outside of the community it claims to support seems to negate and go against the mission statement professed. Is the Grand Valley not worth keeping its dollars local? Also, Laurie Miles in the member services department was unhelpful after scoffing at a request rather than delivering quality service.
