Frye Electric

Called to make appointment. Went to voicemail. When he finally called back he was rather rude and short with me. I guess my job was too small for their criteria.

Frye Electric did a great job for us on a Saturday emergency call! I had a red hot connection coming in from line side to the top of our house load center (breaker panel). This was on the verge of being a house fire if went further! I shut off the mains and starting looking for emergency help (on a SATURDAY no less). Contacted a competitor first (who shall be un-named), immediate answer service, but indicated they couldn't be out until July 6th! WOW, so much for emergency service.

Then I contacted Frye Electric. Emergency service operator was just as friendly. However, I got a phone call from "Hal" within minutes to ask for details of my issue. He said he would make a couple of calls and call right back. Within minutes, he said "Cody" was on his way. Cody arrived, did the inspection, was able to come up with a safe & effective solution!

He was kind, courteous, and diligent to help us out! Cody expressed he wasn't leaving until we had power no matter what it took! Power was back up within a few hours! Very impressed especially for a late afternoon Saturday! Job well done and appreciated! Thank you Frye Electric! Thank you Hal and definitely thank you Cody!

I would highly recommend Frye Electric. My wife and I were struggling with high electric bills and flashing lights. Within 60 minutes they found the reason for the high bills and fixed the flashing lights. And their costs to come out was very reasonable. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Critical: Professionalism Some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Called and was put on hold for 10 minutes, had to call back to confirm appointment time. Said 1-4pm, but didn't show up until well after 4. Very disappointed. Acted like it was an inconvenience to confirm appointment. Service: Light fixture installation

Closed for good and out of business. why why why did you have to leave? Was one of my most favorite places to stop in on my way through north indy. Hopefully we will start seeing their overstock inventory hitting the auction block soon! I don't think they had a closeout sale at all.

We spent almost $4k to have them wire our basement in our newly built home. During their visit, their crew spilled something oily in our driveway, and made a huge stain. The circumstances of their visit make them the only possible cause of the stain. I didn't think it was a big deal and simply asked them to clean it up. They were unable to, so I contacted the office.

All I asked is that they clean it. The owner called me back and was extremely rude, refused to take ownership of the issue and said that if "we can prove it was them, they'll take care of it". And hung up on me. Having spent that much money with their company and being treated so rudely over such a small issue, I am just in shock. I have NEVER written a business review before because I usually just roll with issues and fix them myself or most people will come to an understanding or do the right thing.

Them making such a big deal over cleaning a stain blows my mind. He said he doesn't want to take ownership and get involved in "legal stuff". Nice guy. definitely wouldn't trust them again if this is the way they do business.

I was greatly impressed by the service I received. I had a power outage in part of my home, and the technician was able to diagnose and repair it in no time. The technician performed the repairs as quickly as possible in order to save me money. This is definitely a business that I would strongly recommend you use!

My first interaction with Frye was great. Had an electrical issue in my basement and the tech was informative and thorough and got the job done quickly and well. The second time was vastly different. I had to go back and rehang the fan they installed for me because it was wobbling so bad. I'm not sure if I'll use them again.

Jeff& Blake were very nice And very helpful. It was definitely a pleasure having them here to do the job we needed done.we will definitely call Frye electric again.

2 Years ago, we had an excellent experience with having our electrical service panel updated and our service pole raised. Today, I called for what I thought might be an emergency. Hal picked up and was incredibly courteous and professional, gave great advice and offered to have an electrician come by to personally check on the issue. It turns out it was actually an issue with our electric provider (IPL), but through and through both Hal and the service electrician (Chad) were understanding and thoughtful through the process to make use feel safe. We are grateful for their continued customer service. Highly recommended.
