What a despicable human being wearing a mask half way down his chin while right over baby bottles in the middle of a pandemic!?!? Robert is his name. Then, I contacted the owner Lee in order to explain to him why I kicked Robert out of my house and he accused me of "just trying to get out of bill". This company deserves to get their business license revoked and I have every intention on making that happen!

I asked these guys to come on short notice to help with a couple of connections in a home we had to sell. Knowledge is one thing. Arrogance and dishonesty is another. I am knowledgeable enough to know that he was attempting to rip me off from the minute he walked in. Telling me how bad the work was done on the other parts of our house right of the cuff.
He proceeded to give me and estimate on work not even asked about. He got very upset when I questioned his approach and his attitude. He called me an idiot for not accepting what he wanted to do (thousands of dollars). I called to get a refund of my 79.00 and spoke to his even ruder brother on the phone. They said they were going to refund me but never happened. Crooks to say the least. Stay away.

Leaving a star is being generous. This shouldn't get a rating at all. Wasted my time and $79 do not let come to your home. 1- no one ever answered the phone 2- late to the first appointment 3- never took a voltage meter out to determine what the problem was. Diagnosed everything from what I told him! SERIOUSLY! 4- generic pricing as if every job is the same?!? 5- didn't show up from scheduled appointment to do the work quoted!

So, my first phone call to them, I get to a voicemail where a nice woman tells me that if someone doesn't get back to me in 15 minutes, I will get 10% off of the work done! I think to myself wow, that's pretty cool! Then once she was done, it told me that the mailbox was full. That gave me a pretty good laugh. Two weeks later and I finally decided to call back and I was able to set a time and date for my work to be done.
I got 2 the location at 8:30, only to have the technician role in around 945 or so. Despite me calling the company that morning and wondering where my technician was, I left a voicemail that was never returned. SO I did get my 10% off (which didn't cover the $78 travel fee). My technician was an older gentleman, polite, but he talked quite a lot, in fact it was so comical to me that I started secretly recording so that I could show my husband later.
He went on to tell me about somebody that was stalking him for a long time, and how he had gone to the police and blah blah blah. Eventually, the guy finally left. The work was done. A little while later in the day, I got another call from the technician and he spoke to me as though I was another customer and letting me know he was on his way, I politely reminded him that he had already done my work. Didn't think much of it. Today, a week since having this done, I just got another call.
I wasn't able to answer so it went to voicemail. Imagine my surprise to hear the same technicians voice speaking again as though I am a client and asking about rescheduling. This made me uncomfortable, why does he still have my phone number in his phone? I called the ABC line again and got the voice mail again(In 5 phone calls, I only got a person once.
Nobody ever returned my voicemails). Left my thoughts on all of this there, but I don't have high hopes of hearing from anybody. Please avoid this company, find somebody you feel comfortable working with!

The bad posts are interesting but not surprising. This older guy came to my home a few years back because I had an issue with GFCI switches tripping. Also mentioned the frequency of my light bulbs going out. He never once pulled out a vote meter and did any research. He insisted that I needed the whole home surge protection. After spending about $300, nothing changed.

My husband and I had called around to get quotes as we bought some lights and we needed them installed. We had at least 8 different companies come out and give us a quote as ABC was reasonable and fair on their pricing. Seven of the lights had an extension already on them and before we had finalized them coming out I called to make sure that quoted price was final price and we weren't going to hear, "oh this happened along the way" and so on and so forth.
They reassured me that was the final cost and sent me an email stating the final agreement, they also gave me the technicians number to call him ( Brandon )to let him know just a few lights needed the extension. He said he had already bought the pieces to the extension and he would take them back and knock off some of the price but before he agreed to that or spoke too soon he said he wanted to make sure the other extensions would work OK.
He could of easily said no and switched out the extensions to keep the price as he also offered to knock off the price as I had not even asked. very generous of him. The work he did is absolutely beautiful. He had about one more hour to go (as we had to close the buisness for a little while to have him there) and he came back within 2 days to finish it up instead of waiting a whole week.
Very professional gentleman this man is. Also, anytime we had to speak to a representative over the phone they were extremely attentive and very nice ladies. What a great staff they have! We will be using ABC again and would give them 5+ stars if we could!

Something fishy about this company. The owner kept referencing his "techs" but it turns out he's the only person there and kept insisting we give him credit card information. When we tried to drop off a check the address was a mailbox store as the other reviewer stated. He claimed he had an office there but they were closed and there was no sign of an office. Also kept prosletizing to my husband about Jesus. Very strange.

They were called to look at an issue with a rental house. The electrician called me tells me that two circuits are bad and that they charge $350 (approximately) to diagnose each circuit. This is $700 for both circuits. This is on top of the $79 call out fee that I paid for them to tell me "yup there is an issue". When I told him no thanks the electrician calls my wife and tells her that her "your husband is very opinionated". Maybe, but I also was not born yesterday. Charge a fair price for a fair service. Just another company trying to milk for everything they can get up front.

Okay it's July 4th and my electricity goes out. The entire house is without electricity, not to mention it's 100 degrees outside. To put it lightly I'm desperate to get my electricity back on. So after trying everything I can think of I called ABC Electric. I was told that it would be around 10 before someone could come out to look at the problem.
I asked him if there was anything that they think that I can do myself. The gentleman that I spoke to was so nice to walk me through the problem and I fixed it myself. Not only did this save me lots of money but I finally get some AC. Thank you ABC Electric!

Do NOT use ABC Electric! They are criminals currently out working in our neighborhoods. I just turned Robert away (had things kept going I would have had to call the police) after paying his $79 truck roll charge. I informed him I was not comfortable with his pricing nor his attitude. This infuriated Robert to the point that he accused me of "hating him" and yelling/arguing with me in the driveway in front of my neighbors.
I expressed displeasure with having to pay $80 for nothing and he said I could "refuse to pay" but I am not like that and agreed to pay even though it was such a terrible experience. I have attempted to contact the office multiple times but I am being put straight to voicemail. Make certain you look over all the bad reviews on here and Google and stay away!
I plan on filing a case against them with the BBB. UPDATE: I've opened a case with the BBB and it's been accepted. They've sent all my documentation to these criminals. I have also opened a case with the TDLR to look into having their license revoked.

I had an appointment set for Wednesday and no one showed. I called the number and kept getting a voicemail with a full mailbox. I finally got a call back saying they made a mistake and set the appointment for the wrong day. I explained that he cost me hundreds of dollars because I had to pay staff to open up and pay for downtown parking. He said "sorry" and then hung up on me. Wow. The worst service I've ever gotten.

I'm just going to state the facts. They requested $99 just to take a look and wanted a credit card number up front. They then charged an additional $371 (total of $471) to change out a 100 Amp breaker (A 10-20 minute job, and they admitted as much.). They had me over a barrel. They already had my $100, and this was a rental property with the tenant needing the breaker fixed ASAP.
They (Robert) insulted me. When I questioned him about the price I got a lecture on how to run a business, with Robert asking, "What's wrong with me?". I ask anyone reading, what is wrong with questioning why the bill for 10-20 minutes of work and a $40 part was $471?

Do not use ABC electric. They have a quick response time because they are eager to rip off the next customer. I had a simple light fixture installation which they over charged to do then they put old light bulbs in it as a courtesy!gee thanks the light bulb burned with the first flip of a switch. I removed the bulb but it was so brittle it broke. I called them to make it right and he wanted $99.00 trip charge. He also yelled over me and proceeded to tell me I do not know how to unscrew a light bulb. Seriously you sexist ass.! Do not use this guy he is a rude rip off!

So I thought when I saw their webpage saying 100% satisfaction guarantee that they might've actually meant it. I'm a contractor and after my crew left the job site for the day one of my customers called me and said that they had a partial outage in their home. Since the possibility existed that my crew may have disturbed a circuit breaker or created the problem I told my customer don't worry about it I'll have it taken care of.
I called ABC electric and was rudely informed that I should hang up and call the customer back and have the customer call me. After explaining that I'd be happy to meet The electrician on site and pay with cash check or credit card I was told we don't deal with contractors you need to have the customer call us directly. I explained that the customer would be there and they would certainly authorize the work and I was told you need to hang up and have the customer call us. Certainly not 100% satisfied I called Metro power and the representative Michael Tunks was happy to come out and take care of the project.

PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS ON ABC Electric.especially ROBERT! Worst treatment Ive ever had by a service technician. He came to my home to install three ceiling fans.assessed the work (I believe he didn't want to do it) and told me had two other customers he had to see. AMAZED.I asked, "what about ME?" I had set this appointment up earlier in the week.not a last minute emergence call. To summarize, he came.left without doing ANY work.insulted me.and wants $181 for showing up($79) and "diagnostics" ($102)! Terrible terrible man!

Do not let ROBERT into your home unless you want to be treated like you are an idiotic moron for not wanting to pay a minimum of $300 to have him GUESS what your problem is. I happily paid the $99 travel fee to get him out and leave me in peace. Condescending, difficult, and completely unethical person. RUN to another company, do not use.

A month ago called to have flourescent light bulb fixed. $159. Two weeks later same problem and Lee says it would be $79 to come look at it. negotiated to $40. electrician only reseats bulbs which I would have done but had neck surgery and could not at this time. problem occurs again last night and call ABC and Lee says the electrician thought a new light fixture is needed now. incredible how the electrician did not discover this the first time. Will never use these people again or recommend.

DO NOT USE! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband and I were trying to have a light fixture installed and called for a quote, Robert came out and met with my husband on a Wed. He gave us a quote said he could be back on Fri or Sat to install. My husband wouldn't be unavailable those days and called me at work to see if I could be there. I chose Sat and when my husband asked Robert what time he said he could be out between 9-9:30.
I was on the phone when Robert responded and wrote that time down, as did my husband. I waited on Sat and he didn't show between 9-9:30, I call the office at 10 and they say our appt is at 12. When Robert shows up at 12 he asks if I am expecting him. I told him I was expecting him at 9AM. He asked if I was angry and I said I was annoyed because he told me he would be there at 9 and I was hoping to be at work by 12.
He then told me about how he had written 12 on his legal pad and that's what he had told the office. I told him that may be the case but that's not what he verbally told my husband and I. He then proceeded to tell me that if I was angry he needed to leave and he did. Never once did he acknowledge he COULD have made a mistake or that there MAY have been a misunderstanding. Had he done this I probably would have let it go and proceeded with the call.
My husband and I BOTH heard and wrote down 9-9:30. When I called the office and spoke with Lee he essentially supported his brother (Robert) and was very condescending to me. He said there was no way Robert made a mistake and that Robert reported that I had been "hostile" to him at the door. I tried explaining my side to Lee about why I was annoyed about having to wait and being late to work but Lee just proceeded to go on about how Robert wouldn't make a mistake and how good of a person he is and how he only wants to help people.
Every time I tried to talk he would interrupt or talk over me. In the end, his position was that I was the one who made a mistake and needed to get over it. Both individuals were very unprofessional and NO attempt to diffuse the situation or take any responsibility was made.

Tech had to be called back to fix both items he worked on. Both times he refused to take responsibility. He returned after the first call and fixed the problem. The second call ended in a screaming match with me being told I was not honest, I was unreasonable, and I was wrong. He refused to come check his work without charging another fee. DO NOT USE.
