May Electric

May Electric was the second installer I called to get solar. If you are anything like me I don't like to buy products from companies I buy the service they provide and this company has been excellent. I am very happy I went with them, the company has been nothing but responsive and quick with everything. When there was a small hiccup with my order they didn't delay my project they did what they had to do to keep the ball rolling.

Now days you just can't put a price on excellent service and May Electric will provide you with just that. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering solar.

Generally very happy from start to finish working with May Solar. Did explore several companies and was really happy with the price for the quality with using LG panels made in Huntsville, AL (rather than China) with a solid 25 yr warranty by a reputable installer and manufacturer (although I have no intent of needing it). We had 26 panels installed on our roof and connected for a new grid tie system.

I am a registered professional engineer and can say the install looks very clean without any shortcuts or "sloppiness" which otherwise seen with a lot of contactor labor even down to little things like clean caulk lines and squared off and aligned panels, disconnect, conduit routing. The process was straightforward and any questions were answered quickly.

The permit went through the county with no corrections needed in like 2 days and then scheduled installation they arrived on the scheduled day and had installed and finished in maybe 6 or 7 hours. They aided in getting the net meter application done with FPL, took FPL 12 days to get it installed, and now happily producing solar electricity while still connected to an excellent power company for all other times of the day making solar storage/batteries not really necessary.

The sales process was great. Tom was knowledgeable in his knowledge of the products. The installation team was very professional and kept me in the loop during the complete install. The quality of work exceeded our expectations and the end result looked great. I would recommend May Electric Solar to anyone that is thinking of installing solar. Compare everything they have to offer for the cost and compare to other companies. When you look and compare everything you will see that May Electric Solar is the better option. Plus they are local and will not leave you hanging like other companies.

Right from the beginning we have been delighted with May Electric Solar's customer focus and support. Our salesperson, Neil summers, never made us feel pressured, instead, we felt that he supported our decision making by providing sound honest information. When we called or wrote the office during our project, Roger Davis was always courteous, responsive, and understanding.

Even the installation crew was courteous, respectful, and friendly. we found it reassuring that all of them had been with the company for at least several years. William May has established a solid customer focused organization that he should take pride in. We highly recommend this company over the fly by night outfits that exist in this arena.

We researched several different providers before we decided to go with May Solar Electric and we couldn't be happier! They provided excellent pricing, the best solar panels, and the best micro-inverters. Our experience with them was great! Neil Summers made the sales process fantastic. He was very professional, attentive to all our needs, friendly, answered all our questions, provided lot of very useful information, and was with us during the whole process.

On top of that, our interactions with May Solar Electric office, and Mr. William May, couldn't have been better. They made the whole approval, installation, financing process a breeze. Great company! I give them 5 stars for sure!

May Electric Solar installed a large solar system at my home six months ago. My experience was exceptional from start to finish. I came back and left this review based on the exceptional service. I emailed a question on a Sunday, Neil called me ten minutes later. Monday they sent a tech out to walk over a few things with me; service here is exceptional. I would highly recommend to anyone considering Solar.

We selected May Electric Solar for installing a solar array on our home in Groveland. Our experience has matched the majority of positive reviews found in numerous places. They took care of the paperwork for our HOA and the city building inspectors. It was all professional and they completed each step promptly. I recommend them without hesitation or reservation.

These guys did a great job with the installation, the price was by far the best. I would highly recommend them. I have had my system up and running for a few month now, and even with the cloudy days it has produced more than enough power for my home.

He was not pushy as some of the other companies were. He responded to my emails when I had questions during my decision making. The product they provide is top quality with a warranty that gives piece of mind knowing that your investment is going to do what it should. While providing top quality soar panels and microinverters, May Electric came thru with the best system cost.

The other companies were offering lesser products and warranties and asking thousands more. May Electric took charge of the installation process and made sure I knew what to expect. The only challenge in the process was with my electric company. Let's just say the electric company really messed up and May Electric stepped up to take care of me and made sure we got my system up and running.

Thank you Mr May. My system has been up for just shy of a week. I monitor its productivity on my computer or an app on my phone. So far, I am very pleased with how the system is working. Bottom line, May Electric Solar is the best way to go solar!

Had great experience with May Electric. From pre-sale inquiry, through actual shopping around, and finally through installation and bringing my systems online. Love it! I like how they are very customer minded and how they followed up with me 6 weeks after the system went live just to see how everything was going. Let me give you another example: my Wi-Fi was having poor connection to solar module, they noticed that remotely and came over and installed a stand alone cell-spot to ensure data was flowing.
