Fisher Electric

I noticed lower production in my solar panels, but my installer went out of business so they couldn't check it. I called several other companies but none of them would inspect panels that they didn't install. Fisher Electric found the problem and fixed it quickly.

I had a panel issue on a Sunday. I had no idea what the issue was as I had no power to my garage. I called in and they set up a Facetime and diagnosed the issue on my phone which i was able to fix. They did not charge me anything for this diagnosis!. It is hard to find dedicated contractors that value customer service and i was so impressed. I have found my electrician for ever!

I have used Fisher Electric many times over the past year. First time was to replace many lights, main panel, and sub panel after PG&E sent a surge through my home. I was so happy with the quality and workmanship, I used them to put in a Generic, solar panels, Tesla charger as well as some pendant lights. They get the job done fast and perfectly. All of their workers are very friendly and they take pride in their work. I won't use anyone else. Thank you Mike Fisher for everything!

Fisher Electric was very responsive and supportive after PG&E send a surge through my home. He brought out the team and fixed the panels, many lights and switches and more. I was so impressed by their quality and friendliness that I had them install Generac, Tesla charger, solar panels, and pendant lights. Every job was done fast and with perfection. My doorbell system is not properly working. The fisher electric helped me to resolve the issue in less than 1hr while the other electric contractor said they cannot do any work over smart doorbell, I like how great and how responsive they are. I will ask them for more works if I need help in future!

They did a great job. Triston was really good. I had four problems and he got them all fixed in a short amount of time. Had the parts he needed on his truck and explained what he did. Response time was fast. I was amazed. Seems like it's hard to get service but they were on top of it

Came out to do an estimate to replace 110 with 220 volt. told me I already had 220 and did not charge me at all. Great company and I will def use them again for any electrical needs.

Beware. This guy took advantage of my elderly mother who needed electrical work to switch from a gas to electric stove. He tried to charge $8k then when she balked he quickly offered a senior discount to $6k. She didn't know any better and thought it was a deal bc of the discount. Then they proceeded to do horrible work that was not up to code, replaced her whole panel without getting permits and we are pretty sure it didn't need replacement (she had recently had solar installed and they had no problem with the condition of the electrical box). Fisher installed the 220 cable on the exterior of the house in a flex tube and zip tied it to the rusty old drain pipe. ZIP TIED!

When we confronted Mr. Fisher with the situation he agreed to a partial refund and left us with the mess. Now we have to pay another electrician to get it up to code. This is elder abuse and a scam. He will be lucky if he doesn't end up in court. Lesson learned: get multiple bids in writing and don't trust people to be honest and competent.

These guys were all too eager to come out the next morning. The electrician showed up right on time at 8am complaining about how he can't turn a screw cause of his carpal tunnel pain. He says we need to replace our entire breaker box for upwards of five grand and it just so happens we're in luck! His boss says they can hook us up with a 90% down payment plan.a total sales pitch.

For my $225 no work was performed. Nothing was even attempted. I feel like I was scammed. Definitely be wary of these guys. I almost cancelled my check but it was cashed the next day. Another local company came out a few days later, did some decent work and solved our electrical issue for the time being.

After the recent rain deluge my garage went dead. Took mike five minutes to figure out the problem and the fix.

Mike and Robert came to the house, installed my new duel generator, repaired some faulty wiring, restored electricity to my master bedroom and bathroom, and did all that in one day, promptly, and courteously. Thw provided me with an itemized quote and advised me on some other issues. They even managed to diagnose a problem with my propane regulator at the tank!

Mike and team at Fisher Electric updated our electrical panel while also adding a hookup for a portable generator. Right from the beginning Mike was professional and transparent in helping walk through all the options we had and not only what we thought we wanted to do but also options we were not aware of. Pointing on pros/cons of the different options and making sure we were very clear on best path forward.

The job took one day and happy to say they finished up earlier than expected with exceptional work and left everything very clean. We would highly recommend Fisher Electric for all your needs and will continue using them in the future.

Mike and his team installed a standby generator for us. He was communicative and great to work with throughout the process, and turned things around quickly. Fisher Electric replaced the smoke detectors throughout my house. I also had them install a portable generator hookup. Mike is very good at his job. He is very knowledgeable. I rarely post reviews but in this case I feel compelled to warn potential customers of Fisher Electric. I used them based on all the positive reviews. Big mistake. Another mistake was to pay them before the job was complete. I have since done a more thorough search and found some negative reviews on Yelp and Google. I hired them to replace my electric panel and install a 40 amp plug in the garage.

I paid Mike after the two items were installed but before the new stucco was applied around the new panel. Mike had to leave while one of his employees stayed and another was making a run to Home Depot for the stucco material. While the stucco was being applied, I noticed they had not put protective (waterproof) paper behind the stucco. The employee assured me it wasn't necessary.

After they completed stuccoing and left, I opened the panel and noticed the switches weren't labeled. The switches on my old panel (that they removed and discarded) was properly labeled. I immediately sent an email to Mike advising him of the missing labels. He responded, apologizing for the oversight, and said he would be there the next day or two to do the labeling.

On day three I sent him a reminder of the oversight. No response and it is now two weeks since the installation. If he had done the labeling I wouldn't be complaining about the shoddy stucco work: it is uneven, does not match the old stucco and there are gaps between the stucco and the new panel. Also, from my research, it appears having a waterproof membrane behind the stucco is vital.

If he had done the labeling I wouldn't be complaining that he had to borrow my sledge hammer to break the stucco around the old panel; and I wouldn't be complaining that after they used my rake to clean up the debris there was still a significant amount of debris left. I can only hope the electrical work was done professionally. Within a few hours of posting my review, I received an email from Michael apologizing that he forgot to do the labeling.

After exchanging a few emails and a phone call, it was agreed he would (without charge) remove the stucco, apply the appropriate paper, wire and new stucco, as well as label the panel. His application of the Fortiflash, without appropriate overlapping and its exposure beyond the stucco, was amateurish. See pictures. Hopefully the two layers of Fortiflash that he installed will be adequate.

The actual stuccoing was an improvement from his employee's work, but still uneven. He also left stucco on my flagstone where he cleaned his tools. See picture. Fortunately I was able to clean it up before it dried. He said he had no excuse why there was no protective paper installed the first time. This whole experience makes me wonder how many panels his company has installed (over 20 years) without proper protective paper.

Came out first thing in the morning, rearranging his previous appointment since I had a Dr apptmt later in the morning. Diagnosed and fixed the problem right away (bad gfi).

Mike was really great to work with. My family likes to support small local businesses and Fisher Electric did a good job.

I needed to have a portable generator with solar panels set up for a 800 sq ft room, not whole house. I contacted several electricians via yelp and Angie's list to get quotes. While others ignored my request, asked for pictures or set up estimate appts but never sent estimates, Fisher Electric was the only one that responded quickly. Mike showed up when he said he would listened to what I needed and understand what I needed, I received a detailed estimate quickly and scheduling options.

On the day of my appointment they showed up early and were able to do additional work providing me accurate quotes, with no additional surprised costs. If I need electric work again Fisher Electric is who I will call.

Our A/C unit kept shutting off and tripping circuits. Mike was prompt and resolved the problem very quickly. I highly recommend Mike and his crew for any electrical situation that might arise. Really top notch and professional.

Great response. Replaced outdoor main electrical panel. We were happy. We recommend them. My son in law is an electrician (out of town) and approved their work. They saved us money where they could.

We got 4 quotes for a backup generator install at our new home. They were all within the same price range. We chose Fisher because they explained the options thoroughly, were really professional and not pushy, and they were super prepared and able to start the job quickly--a huge deal considering it's fire season and no other place actually had all the components in stock and the soonest anyone could guarantee installation was at minimum 7 weeks out. Mike gave us our quote and we had the machine installed and set up within 2 weeks of our first consult. The crew who did the work were friendly and efficient folks. We have some other work to do on the house and will be hiring Fisher again soon, I'm sure.

We had Fisher Electric install a "Zombie Box" over our generator to dampen the sound. I thought they did a very good job with the installation and we are very happy. Fisher Electric has done other work for us too, in the past, and we've always been pleased with their work. I recommend them highly.

Everyone at this outfit, including Jay and Rob, were great. They are not the cheapest option, but, they were professional, responsive (even though we are up in the mountains), and left everything looking great.

So I hired Fisher Electric to install another electrical outlet in my laundry room and fix a GFI outlet out near my pool and they were very prompt and on time as previous. There price was very reasonable for work done. Jonathan, his worker, was extremely competent, and knowledgeable also very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical for your home.
