The difference between paying your bill online and paying your bill online using quick pay is the amount of access you will have to your account; both options require a login through SmartHub. Quick pay only requires your account number and last name to pay your bill and you will only be able pay your bill. You will not have access to your billing and usage history, the ability to report an outage or autopay options.
As a not-for-profit utility, Southern Pioneer Electric implemented a plan to recover extraordinary costs incurred during the event in an attempt to mitigate the financial impact on consumers. The charge will be amortized (spread out) in equal installments over 36 months. Consumers will have the option to pay their recovery charge (in full) at any point in time during the 36-month period.
