My husband had called to set up electric on our raw land. We are very new to this as we have never done this before. Customer service is not very friendly. I advice you to train your employees on how to speak a bit friendlier to those coming in and paying for services as this is what keeps your business running. P.S. We treat our elders with respect, but sometime they forget how to treat the younger generation the same way.

Had a power failure this winter on a very cold night, I called the hotline number and reported the outage and the guy said they would have a crew out there to find the problem. I kid you not within five minutes there was a truck on the front road looking at the power lines. Looked like he was trying to fix something himself with a long pole but could not do it in about 10 minutes later a big truck came and sky lifted themselves up to the top of the pole so basically within 35 minutes of my call of distress they had my power turned back on. A shout out to the lineman crew, you guys TOTALY rock!

Power is currently out and has been for hours and they give you a message about high call volume and then call disconnects. They need to provide a map on their website that gives an estimated time for repairs. People have disabled family members and young children and they need to be able to make appropriate plans in these situations. Demand better service people!

I've had 3 power outages in one week. Everytime I call I get a robot turning me away.not how you deal with customers especially if it's a call in line to report outages. It may be due to low staff and high amounts of calls.but that's not even the problem. I expected them to find and fix this issue already it's what I'm paying for.

Nothing good to say and not enough space to list the negatives. I just wish EPB was around here. That is a true class act company, this is worse than comparing fiber wire vs dial up if this was a internet provider story.

Numerous outages, especially in the summer months. Not just when storming but even when there's not a cloud in the sky! Small town utility apparently unable to keep up with demand. UPDATE, they finally identified the problem for our neighborhood and fixed it right away. Changed review from 1 star to 4 stars. Thanks!

So far in the time I have had Caney Fork has been less than ideal. I never received my bill so my power was shut off then they told me they are not responsible if we did not get the bill. Now we have had a severe storm that knocked out our power. This happened over the weekend and I wad not able to get through to anyone until 4:00 am Monday and I still don't have power. The kicker is they can't tell me when I will have power. In the three months I have had their service I have had nothing but problems.

If I could make it less than 1 star I would. I never complain about customer service, because I have worked it and I know it stinks a lot of the time. This is the 10th crappy encounter I have had with this company in the last year. They are rude, talk you you like your stupid, and are not helpful at all. If I could use another company I would in a heartbeat even if I had to pay a little more( Which is doubtful cause they charge an arm and a leg).
