I needed a new electric box installed, the techs arrived on time and they were very efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. There was little insulation in the wall where they had to remove drywall to get to the main wire. I had new insulation laying around and I asked him to stuff more in there and he did. I had no issues and they even swept the entire floor to clean up anything that might have been left behind. I was really impressed how they took the extra time to clean the floor really well, I personally would not have cared much otherwise. I would recommend them 10/10.

With each project I engage in, Colonial distinguishes itself in its work above all other contractors in value, responsiveness, and quality. They do the work as if they lived in the house, both in design/execution and post-project cleanliness. If they are competitive in their bid, and they usually are, don't hesitate to choose them.

OMG! It was awesome. Kevin with Colonial Electric, called me to say he was going to be delayed due to accident on Rt. 97. Most trades people I have dealt with have been horrible and don't keep their appointments or inform customer of delay or they just don't show up. Kevin was Outstanding, explained the why and fixed the problem. He was professional, courteous, good communicator and was friendly. What a Breath of fresh air. To be valued as a customer. Wonderful company. Turned up on time, did a great job, and were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical jobs.

I had an issue with my bedroom ceiling fan, and didn't want to mess with it. The fan needed to be replaced, but I was neevous to do it myself. Called these guys, and they were at my place the next day, changed out the fan, and were on their way. They were polite and professional. Very affordable to!

Can't say enough about how helpful Colonial Electric has been. We started up a small business in Annapolis and had to work with multiple contractors during the process. We used another electrical contractor at first and didn't have a good experience due to shady tactics and high prices. After finding Colonial Electric, we'll never use another electrician.

They provide great service at an affordable rate. Very professional workers and staff. We've even used them for home electrical upgrades at our home with installing a new stove recently. I highly recommend Colonial Electric for commercial and home electrical work.

We were having the most exasperating problem with our electricity. It would shut down with the minimum use of electricity in the top floor, mainly and at any time. We had to resort to using long electrical extension cords and left them lying across the hallway even though it was dangerous to fall down the stairs than to move in complete darkness. We were spending money on electricians and getting nowhere.

When I called Colonial they assessed the problem and told us they would approach the problem by splitting a circuit even though it might take having to get to some electric lines by cutting through the walls. I said "Go for it!" Ken and Nick arrived ready to do the work and they were efficient and professional and so nice! They are hard workers but they have pride and want to solve your problem.

As far as opening the walls they covered the wall like the best drywall workers around. I just have to smooth some caulk over the slim openings and sand and paint easily. I finally have our home back. No problems with losing electricity and having to run down to the circuit box over and over and over again. The extension cords are back in the garage where they belong.

I am so happy and relieved, finally. What part of heaven did they come from? They also replaced the sensitive of movement lights outside quickly. What can I possibly say that reflects my satisfaction? The charge was reasonable especially considering the extensive work and know-how involved. They charged $1,257.00 for everything done in one day from 9am to early evening.

We had several lighting projects that needed to be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Not only did Colonial quote us on a great price, they completed the project ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company for anyones electrical needs.

I had a great experience with everyone that I worked with at Colonial Electric. They performed the work requested efficiently and as promised. They left all the space neat and clean and have worked with me to make sure there are further issues.

After going without power during the storm last year we decided that we wanted to ensure that we could safely ensure that during the next emergency we would have power. We purchased a generator and called several electrical contractors to create a safe alternative to running extention cords. After speaking with these contractors we chose Colonial Electric Co.

Colonial inspected the generator and advised us as to what would be the best circuits to have backed up and wrote an estimate and emailed us. Colonial Electric was able to install a separate breaker box on the basement, install a power line with an outlet outside in a neat, clean and inconspicuous place in the back of the property. The job was done clean and professionally.

In addition to the installation, the electrician also provided instruction and tested the system, The electrician were courteous and cleaned up when they were completed. It should also be noted that the price was less expensive and did not go over their original estimate, I would highly recommend the services of Colonial Electric and if we ever require electrical service work we will call Colonial Electric
