Once again I have accumulated a few electrical fixtures and called Mchesney electric and asked for Chris and once again I receive superior service and beautiful work, thank you Chris May 2022. My one and only place for any electrical work, Fair, friendly, fast and efficient. five stars all the way. Chris the electrician is top notch! Added bonus, if you live in their city, (Ferndale)there is no service call fee, what a deal!

I have used McChesney for years for any electrical work in my home. The electricians they send always arrive on time, are professional, take extra time to explain the work they're doing, and clean up after the work is done. Prices are stated up front and very fair. I've had them out twice during the pandemic, and they wore masks and were conscious of safety measures. I can't recommend them enough.

We had some small repairs done by McChesney a few years ago. They were great! The electrician was very friendly and helpful. He was able to fix what we needed. However, I recently called them for another job and didn't even make it past the secretary. She was short and rude. She basically told me they aren't taking on any appointments that require an estimate.
So what exactly are they even doing? The secretary was very off-putting. Too bad because I enjoyed working with them in the past. I will seek working with a different company for my future electrical needs.

I called McChesney because I had an issue where half of my home didn't have power. The day they came they told me they would be there between 2 and 5. They showed up at 2:01. Awesome. They figured out the problem, did some work at a couple outlets, and were gone within a half hour. The hourly price was the cheapest I found, and they waived the trip fee because I live in Ferndale! I'll definitely call them again if I ever need to, and I'll definitely recommend them to friends!

I had such a great experience with McChesney Electric. Chris came out to install some interior lights and he really went above and beyond. I'm just in the process of moving in to this house and he did a walk through and found some loose wires that had the potential to be a safety hazard so he took care of those too. Anything I need in the future, I now know who to call!

Came about 15 minutes past the hour and was very friendly. Completed my two repairs in no time and actually helped me with one extra that popped into my head while he was there. Great service, comparable pricing - would definitely recommend and use again. The tech I had was Chris and he was top notch! Even sent me a link for spare screws for the electrical panel so I didn't have to try to figure it out on my own!

Absolutely amazing experience. Would highly recommend. A storm caused a tree to fall on my roof. Because the tree damaged the electrical riser attached to my house, DTE said it was my responsibility to fix. Worse yet, the damage posed a potential fire hazard requiring immediate attention. It was after 3 p.m., on a Friday, of a long holiday weekend.
After a dozen failed attempts, I called McChesney. Jane who took my call said she would get someone out there asap. Within the hour, the owner, Bob McChesney came to inspect the damage and determine what was needed. His crew showed up shortly thereafter. They did a great job and were very professional. I will be a customer for life.
