In 2005, Russ and Beth Smith left the comfort and security of their long-held jobs to chase down the "American Dream" and become business owners. Armed with his expertise in electrical contracting and her experience in business management - they founded their new company in their hometown of Gladwin, Michigan.
Master Electric is your one-stop shop for technology system solutions. Our in-house BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) is able to design your custom technology system. Once the design is set our full complement of Trained Low Voltage and Security Technicians install and train, providing our customers with a complete solution to their technology system needs.
Our crew members are very adaptable and uniquely skilled. We have plowed up and down steep sandy hills, bored under waterways and through wetlands, dammed up a portion of the lake at Belle Isle to install manholes, removed and reinstalled sidewalks and driveways in subdivisions, cored roadways to locate utilities and lashed & installed aerial conductors and fiber/communication cabling.

Called Michelle at Master Electric yesterday for some repair work. They were booked up till the middle of January, but Michelle was so great and fit us in! Her crew was here yesterday afternoon and everything was great. Don't listen to these other reviews! I would recommend them to anyone I know! Service: General repairs

You guys have done such an amazing job. You were contracted to do some ATT boxes in my neighborhood. Our yard was the luck pick for a large underground box right in the front of the yard. I made a phone call and was put in touch with Chuck and expressed some ideas and concerns and Chuck did an amazing job with follow up and results. In fact he called the second day to make sure I was satisfied with everything. Although you are far away from us, I wanted to say how thankful I am that your team is so amazing! Stay away from this place, overcharge and under deliver, first off they showed up two hours after they said they would be there, then there so called trained electrician wired my bathroom incorrectly, he came back and tried to fix it but it was still not working right, I ended up having to call in another electrican to fix the problem they couldnt fix and they wanted to charge me for there mess up, untrained staff, over charging on my undetailed invoice, will never go back
