Called them back in August.spoke to a lady that was nice but always seemed distracted. Made an appointment. they never showed up. made another appointment and some guy showed up who was basically useless but said he would pass on the information so that they could get me a quote. Never got a quote. called several times spoke to the nice lady but kept being promised I would get a quote.5 months later still haven't heard from them.waste of time.

This firm scheduled 2 appointments with me and didn't show up to either. When i called to get an update they were unprofessional and simply unable to confirm when they can come to quote the service. I would never use this organization again. Absolutely unaccpetable behavior by the person who picked up my phone call complaining to me about her tablet not working and arguing with me when i said i was upset over being stood up 2x.

I wanted to have an interlock installed in my panel for my portable generator. Brian came out looked things over for an estimate and said "I'll take care of you and give you a good deal" "for a project this small we don't take a deposit" Two days later I got the estimate and fell over. $1290-that includes 4% cash discount. I asked for a detailed estimate material cost and labor cost.
He told me 55% labor 35% material 10% profit and over head. He also said he now needed a $500 deposit Materials needed for this project are $250 +\- 4 hours labor you do the math on the rest. How can you put any trust into this company? I got two other estimates from licensed and insured electricians one was $900 less the other was $800 less. Make sure you explore other options before calling American Electric!
