Stahl Electric

We used Stahl Electric for various projects throughout our house (outdoor outlets, replacing ceiling fans/lights, adding bathroom fan, etc.). The company was responsive, on time (even early) and extremely clean/professional. They were easy to work with re: scheduling and stayed on schedule. We will for sure use them again and recommend them to others.

My wife and I live in a 100-year old 3- story house in Northwest Philadelphia. The house has a stone exterior and inside bearing walls. We have been using Stahl since we moved into the house in 1998 years ago (24 years), and they did an enormous amount of work updating our entire electrical system which had not had a major upgrade in at least 30 years.

Since then, We have called on Stahl for many, many different kinds jobs. Every Stahl electrician who has worked in our home has been efficient, competent, courteous, and effective. As we have aged, we asked them to install an intercom system so we don't have to go downstairs every time someone rings our one of our doorbells. Each floor has a monitor by which we can see and talk with the visitor, and then go downstairs only if we need to.

This was a medium sized job. It amazed us that the men worked with such sustained intensity, energy, and productivity, while treating us with courtesy and good humor and being patient and clear when we needed to understand something or make a decision. The only challenge with Stahl Electric is that they are so good, professional and talented that you have to join the waitlist to use them. However, to be open and honest, they will keep small jobs (you hope) on their cancelation list and call you to schedule their visit. Best electricians in the area!

Stahl Electric was outstanding. We hired them to install ceiling fans, new lighting, update old outlets, an electric-car-charger, and various other things. They were fast, reliable, professional, respectful, and really just wonderful all around. Can't say enough good stuff about them. Will definitely be hiring them again for any electrical work down the road.

We needed electrical work done on our front porch when we bought an electric sun shade. The job was done perfectly with extremely professional and congenial electricians. Stahl has come inside recently to deal with a broken transformer. We can not say enough about care and attention we received. We have our new electricians and we are clearly pleased about that.

We recently moved to a new house that required a complete re-wire. Louis and his team did a great job throughout our home. They demonstrated strong attention to detail and always left their work area cleaner than they found it. We felt very at ease with the team in our house even when we were not at home. Most notably, Louis always took time to inquire how we would be using each area of our house so he could place switches and dimmers in the optimum configuration for our needs

We just completed the remediation of Knob and Tube wiring for our 1920's era home. As an architect, I care very much for the both the execution of the installation as well as the experience of having the mechanics in my home for several weeks. I could not be more pleased with both. The team was professional in their execution and respectful of my home and possessions.

Stahl recently completed a three-week major rewiring project in our home. I was happily surprised by every aspect of our experience: the fair and competitive pricing, the crew's excellent workmanship, how clean, quiet and considerate they were, and how non-disruptive this project was for me (I work in my home). The unavoidable damage to walls for such an extensive rewiring project was minimal-so much less than I expected! Stahl's lead guy on the job, Mike along with his crew, did a great job of patching those tiny holes so all we need to do now is repaint those small areas. Stahl found and fixed problems that our prior (well-regarded) electrician didn't understand.

They also identified code compliance issues that likewise the other firm didn't find. Because Stahl's pricing is reasonable, we were able to add to our project. We installed new recessed lighting in our living room, had the crew rewire old ceiling fixtures (saving us the cost of buying new fixtures), and switched the fluorescent lights in our finished basement over to LED. I recommend Stahl Electric for major rewiring projects without hesitation.

We love these guys. Their estimate was incredibly thorough and was presented in a menu format so that we could select the tasks we wanted done (or not). The team they sent out was a wonderful mixture of seasoned pros, advanced apprentice, and new apprentice - I always love supporting those who are learning new trades so this is a huge positive for me.

The team was conversational, polite, cleaned as they worked, obviously trustworthy, etc. What's more, they are local and family owned. Outstanding experience. If we have any additional needs over the coming years, we will definitely call Stahl again and we recommend them without hesitation!
