Services
No safety program can be effective without rewards and consequences. On the consequence side, superintendents meter out discipline for infractions in a stepped program spelled out clearly in the employee handbook. The purpose of this discipline is to quickly bring an employee into compliance with company safety goals.
Southwest Electric actively participates in the local community and organizations. Our involvement primarily revolves around educating the younger generation to ensure that our industry will be provided with bright young individuals entering the workforce. Southwest Electric is a member of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association, The Association of General Contractors, and The Association of Builders and Contractors. We train electricians through our IEC affiliation and our support of the N.E.I.S.D. electrical program at MacArthur High School.
I am writing to you to recognize the high quality performance of Southwest Electrical Contracting Services (SWECS) on the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Academic Learning and Teaching Center (ALTC) construction project. SWECS provided a professional team who provided schedule-conscious planning and reacted well to owner changes.
