C & B Electric

My biggest mistake I have ever made for home repair is with C&B. Unless you are still covered by their warranty, you would not want to get ripped off to get their contractor to work on your home repair. I wouldn't have to tell you the details, but just present the following numbers: -- Utility fluorescent lights (two bulbs) replacement: $125.99 EACH!

That's EACH! For two bulbs, that's $252! -- A closet door light switch replacement: $149. Plus there is always a $65 inspection fee (I am not surprised with that). So, a total of $502 (incl. tax) to get the above done. A while ago, I had a Mercedes dealer to replace my car battery with genuine battery from Germany. It costed LESS than three lights' repair. AVOID calling C&B if you don't want to suffer. And, just not to be shy to reject the offer before you sign. I truly regret.

We just had a CAT 6 line run during the home building. The contractor employed by Tripointe homes did not terminate the CAT 6 cable coming into the master bedroom closet, and left the cable ends bare with exposed wiring. This was not communicated to us at the Home Start Orientation, or, even with the contractor when selecting the security wiring option.

I spoke to C & B Electrical and they stated it would cost another 125.00 to terminate the 4 wire ends now. The cables are not usable in its present state. Its like going to get an oil change on your car/truck and the company doing the oil change just replaces your old oil filter, but does not fill your engine with oil!

My home is a new Lennar homes 2017. Eletric was done by C&B Electric. So when my Circuit breaker kept tripping, i called them. To replace one circuit breaker (Eaton, Arc Fault which costs $50), they charged $297 (Trip fee $55, rest fixing charges). WHen I called Eaton later to complain on how an expensive circuit breaker can go faulty, they said they can send a new circuit breaker part for free. Wont C&B Eletric know this that these are covered under warranty from Eaton? Called C&B and they said they cant refund. Their trip fee is $55 and charges to replace circuit breaker $150+. Total rip off company. Will avoid in future.

All the homes in our area appear to be wired by CB Electric, having built my last home I will say this is the poorest quality and lack of care for detail I have ever seen. Makes no sense where wall ports are its like they came in and just said "this will do.". The homes they wire are a great example of mass production with ZERO oversight and no thought process.

I had them come back when we first moved in and the guy couldn't understand why its bad to have 6' of extra 110 pull wound around a board in the attic. "This is no problem, it is fine" he says. eventually when I wouldn't budge he angrily ran a clean line from the junction box.

I had C & B electric to change my light bulbs changed on my high ceiling. I used them in the past, and they were able to change all the bulbs from the high ceiling. I called them again and asked them to do the same job this time. The technician came and changed those bulbs which are out, but refused to change those which are not out. Called the customer service number and spoke with 3 people.

Unable to resolve my issues. I asked to talk to a manager, but they said the manager is gone for the day. They told me that a manager will call me the next day, but no body bother to call me. I do not recommend this company for anyone.

I just wanted to say how great Michelle was in answering my service call and making it a priority. I voiced to her that my breaker wasn't allowing my a/c to run and with my kids in the house I was worried it would get too hot if we waited too long. She said that she would partner to see if they could get someone out sooner and that's exactly what they did. I appreciate Michelle going the extra mile to get things taken care of. AMAZING Customer Service!

Patrick went above and beyond to help get my ring doorbell working properly. All of the electrical was working just fine and he could have left because there wasn't an electrical issue. However, he actually called Ring customer service and put us on a three way call to get the problem handled correctly. It ended up being an issue with the Ring app, not an electrical issue but he definitely saved the day. Will recommend C&B Electric and absolutely recommend Patrick!

C & B Electric and Security was the contracted company for the new build on our home. We are using them for security monitoring and had them install our home center/media center components. Our go to person is Nathan Boyd. From the very start the entire company has been nothing short of fabulous. When we had them start up our alarm system he also installed our ring doorbell for us, super quickly. Alexis in the office is super helpful and got our billing set up quickly and made it easy to understand.

When Nathan came out to give us an estimate for the media center he was really patient with all our questions and gave us several options. He worked with us to make the home theater a place we love. He really knows his business and explained things as he went, as well as installing a very user friendly system. We had a small issue this past week and he was out the same day to make it all right.

We enjoy visiting with him when he comes out and while we hope we don't need him for a service need he is a valued contact and we will definitely stay in touch. We had many choices when we moved into our home, and we are so happy we went with C & B.

Alex is fantastic! He did a great job installing an outlet above our fireplace for a tv and installing four ceiling fans. His knowledge and expertise helped us make great selections. We felt confident and secure about choosing C & B Electric. We will definitely be calling Alex out for future electric wants.

C&B Electric did an amazing job on the installation on our home theater. Ryan was able to guide me through all the options on the market and suggested audio/video components that fit my budget without compromising on quality. All top notch equipment. The Integra receiver packs a lot of power and options. It was totally what I was looking for. What really won me over was the top notch customer service.

They were there with me step by step and made me feel like I was a VIP customer. They set expectations up front and delivered on all levels. I would highly recommend them for all your A/V needs. A+++
