When cleaning your ceiling fans be sure and keep the blades from bending. Bending the blades can cause the fan to become un-balanced. If you hear a humming noise, check to see if the screws on the globe are tight and check the light bulb to make sure it is secure in the globe. If the smoke alarm is making a single beeping sound about every five minutes, it could be that your battery is becoming inoperative. Replace the battery as soon as possible. When changing batteries, make sure the replacement battery is put in correctly.

I had asked for them to come out & give me an estimate. The electrician came out, reviewed everything & fixed an immediate issue and informed me that his boss would be calling me. 2 weeks went by and I called the office where the recepionist said she would find out why no one has called and she said she would call me back. No one has called me back and it's been over 2 months.

While the final price of the meter and weather head repair we had done was a little higher than the quote we had received, the price was still considerably lower and more affordable than the other people we had called. The guys who came out were very friendly and got our work done in a short time. Overall, no problems.

My mom called for an estimate to install two ceiling fans in her bathrooms. They called her several times to say they were on their way out to install the ceiling fans. She said no, I wanted an estimate. Well, they finally decided on a time and two guys showed up. My mom showed them the area she wanted the fans installed and they said oh, I thought it was already pre blocked for the fans.
My mom said no, that is why I wanted an estimate to install them. They started asking my mom questions about electrical stuff so my mom called the builders to find out the info (they just moved into a new house). As she was on the phone, the two guys started backing out of the house. My mom answered their questions and they said they would have to go back to the office and get them to generate the estimate and someone would be in touch.
Several days later, my mom received a bill for $95 (an hour work) because according to the business, my mom called to have them install the fans and changed her mind once they got there. A very rude lady told my mom that because she changed her mind, they had to charge her for them going out. My mom said they were supposed to come give an estimate, which they didn't even provide her.
The rude lady said well they told me that they tried to do the work and you changed your mind. She refused to reconsider the charge. Is this the only way they make their money? This is really sad, we tried to give a small business an opportunity and this is how they treat their customers. By the way, we are still waiting on our estimate.
