Raceway gave us excellent service, at a great price, and on schedule for a past project rewiring outside electrical boxes and adding external lighting. Mike was very courteous and professional, and we are now using Raceway to install solar panels. My solar provider went down and I needed a diagnosis for the system. Raceway has a great team. The front office is excellent providing good communication as to what to expect. Billy changed settings on the LEDs to make sure I was happy with the brightness and tested different styles of lights over the kitchen island for me. Raceway Electric is definitely the electric company to call. If you are looking for experienced electricians that are professional, honest, reliable, on time and can get the job done quickly. This is the ONLY company to go with! We had an electrical surge in our home and have been displaced for over 5 months. After calling 16 electric companies to come out and assess, only 3 companies showed up. Mike was 100% honest and was not asking insurance questions or giving me a lesson on how much to tell the insurance company the electrical would cost. Mike whom is the owner, came out and provided a free estimate. Explained exactly what needed to be done.

The team, Sam and Billy installed a new panel, new circuit breakers and rewired the fire damaged area. These men are wonderful, very knowledgeable, hardworking and were able to answer any questions I had. Also, they have a heart for their customers and thats not easy to find. Mike and his team have gone above and beyond for my family and I can't express the appreciation.

My HOA hired Raceway Electric to perform inspections on electrical panels throughout our complex. I had been wanting to replace the old Zinsco panel since I moved in before the pandemic, so I arranged to have the work done by Raceway. I am so happy with the service and work the did on my condo! Not only did they replace the panel, they installed 2 fans on a vaulted ceiling, updated my recessed wall heaters, and repaired broken lighting in my garage. Billy and Sam arrived on time, finished the work professionally and promptly, and left things neat and tidy.

They also provided an awesome referral to a general contractor to do the drywall repairs and he's patching the holes as I write this. The whole experience was excellent. Great job, Raceway!

Mike and his company came from a recommendation a friend gave me. Mike was very professional while not being pushy. He listened to what we were interested in, gave us honest feedback and made it happen. We had an extra circuit added for a hot tub install, it was done clean and neat looking, concrete work was super nice and overall the experience was very easy and stress free. Kudos to Raceway Electric & Solar who were very professional, efficient and knowledgeable. They were quick to respond and prompt showing up at the appointed time for the assessment for the work I wanted done - which I find to be a challenge these days with other companies. I had several projects I needed done which included providing an outdoor two separate electrical outlets, creating lighting and electrical outlets in an existing shed and providing power to an outdoor fountain with an on/off switch.

When Mike, the owner, came by to give me an estimate, I also inquired about their solar panels. I appreciated his honesty when he realized I had just moved in a few months prior so I was not aware what my average power bill was. He strongly suggested that I wait a year to get an accurate assessment of my power needs before looking into installing solar panels.

I really appreciated his suggestion rather than him taking advantage of me by making a quick sale. On the day the service was to be done, there was a mix up on their end. However, when I called to see if they were just running late, they realized their mistake and I was told they would get someone there by noon to at least get my projects started. Instead, they arrived within a half hour of the phone call and completed all the work I needed done within a few hours! They were very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend Raceway Electric & Solar to anyone needing electrical work!

Raceway is Tremendous! We have been using them for all our electric projects for over 20 years. Every time they do an outstanding job. They are prompt, thorough and courteous. Most recently Sam put in outlets in our bathrooms. He worked quickly, made sure that it was convenient to us when he took his lunch break and did an outstanding job. Use Raceway Electric. We met with several electricians for estimates on some small jobs around our house. Mike listened to our requests, offered excellent suggestions, and provided a very competitive estimate. Great customer service and they really talk you through the issues. I ended up going with a different company, but I would consider them for future jobs.

Steer clear. Ripped me off of a $350 deposit to add a new service panel. Nothing was done and they drug it out for months. While I was waiting for the panel upgrade, I foolishly allowed them to do some work in the meantime that I paid for. Some of the work was shoddy but I still paid them even though they charge $120 per hour plus a 30% markup on any supplies they use. They later tried to charge me a 2nd time for the same shoddy work. Do yourself a favor and find another electrician.

Sam at Raceway was AMAZING! He identified the problem within 10 minutes and had the repair completed within an hour. Raceway's pricing was also great and they were able to come out within a couple of hours on the day I called them. We had another contractor come out and replace breakers. which was never the problem to begin with. If you are looking for an honest, timely and trustworthy Electric and Solar company, look no further. I wish I had know before I installed my solar but I'm happy to know of them now!

Another awesome job completed by Raceway Electric! I originally called for service for an inoperable GFCI outlet and two light switches that stopped working. Not only did Billy come out and fix those items, I also remembered I needed an outdoor outlet and cover for the backyard, which he handled. As always, he was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous and personable. These guys are the BEST!

Can't say enough about Raceway. After getting a tankless water heater installed I needed to move an outlet. I call Raceway and set up an appointment. Mike showed up and not only installed a new outlet he realized my garage refrigerator was plugged into a faulty gfi outlet and switched that out also. Mike was on time and extremely friendly. I highly recommend Raceway for any of your electrical needs.

We had Raceway do complete wiring and installation for three new 52-inch ceiling fans in our condo (with no existing wiring), a pretty big job. Quite a lot of work, especially running the new wiring to a plug in a room with high ceilings. It was a full day's work, and Mike (Dombo) and Billy did a great job. Such great work that we also had them run a dedicated circuit to our 3rd floor balcony for an outdoor electric grill.

One hour or so, and it was done. They worked fast, left the areas spotless, and the prices were exactly as agreed. They did not do the replacement of the drywall "holes" for running wire, but recommended a guy that also did superb patching and painting, and were available the next day. I'll try to post a couple photos to better explaining what I'm talking about here.

Two days start to finish, the fans look like they've always been here, and we can see no trace anywhere of the 50+ holes cut, patched and painted. Raceway has subsequently done work for several of our neighbors as well. Really great work, reasonably priced, and left everything spotless. We could not be happier with the work. Highly recommended!

Mike and his team at Raceway were great to work with! From the estimate where he brought some good ideas, to the quick execution and professionalism of his team. They performed some home improvements for me, sconces, outside lights, garage lights, ceiling fan. Highly recommend!

After our usual electrician retired, we had to branch out and find someone new. Raceway will definitely be our first call from now on! Raceway replaced our pendant light in our breakfast nook a few weeks ago. Start to finish, they were great. Easy to book. Showed up on time. Their electrician was very nice and efficient. We will definitely be using them for future projects. Highly recommend!

We have used Raceway for our solar panel installation and we are very happy. They worked closely with the roofers because we were getting a new roof, too, and that really helped make things go smoothly. We also used them recently to replace a breaker for our jacuzzi. They were punctual, courteous, and got the job done.

Had an electrical issue with several rooms that were originally wired incorrectly. Repairman came out and was quick and thorough in resolving the issue. Plus, found reasons for the problem; advised us to to use certain appliances on certain walls anymore.

One of few good and honest electrical companies around. With fair rates and super nice crew. Had them do some minor electrical repair work around my house it needed be done. Had it done in about an hour. They take proud in there craft and it shows. Would use again. Also their locally owned and operated which is always a plus

Raceway completed one-part of a two-part project. I paid them (cashier's check) for the first part of the project on the day they completed the first part. Shortly thereafter I became seriosly ill with an infection in both lungs. When I was well, approx 90 days later, they were "much too busy with big projects" to complete the second part of the work.

This was a small project related to a dishwasher and hot water heater installation. The quality of their work was excellent. But they only completed one part of a two-part project. Very disappointed. I do not recommend their services.

I highly recommend Raceway! I called the top 5 reviewed electricians in my Santee neighborhood and only 1 called back. Raceway called back within 15 minutes of receiving my call. Eddie showed up later that afternoon to replace a faulty switch in the fusebox. Educated me on the process, asked for the go ahead, and he knocked it right out. As this is a new home to us, I will be using Raceway again soon. also, I called on Friday Feb 3rd.the other electricians have still not called me back and it is now Monday the 6th Thanks S & J Jara Santee

I've used raceway on two different homes and different projects. Both times the service was excellent, and the pricing was lower than other bids. Mike and Eddie stay very busy and have been in business for quite awhile, I swear I see their trucks everywhere around San Diego. If you're looking for an electrician or solar installer I wouldn't look anywhere but here. Thanks again guys, I look forward to the next project.

We have been using Raceway for years now as our electricians. Nice small family run business. Honest, friendly and reliable.

Just had Solar installed. Everything went so smooth. Mike one of the owners actually did the install. We also had our him install 3 lights in our garage and put two new electrical outlets in my kitchen for my confection oven. And we also had them upgrade our electrical panel. I got 5 quotes before I decided to use Raceway. So glad we did. They are a wonderful company to work with and do exactly what they promise. Give them a try. I am fussy and was so happy with them so I am sure they can please anyone.
