I referred my father to Ideal Electric as he has a Generac generator that has been having a few problems. Ideal electric has a huge sign 'generac' out front of their business. This company did not care that this 85 year old gentleman's generator did not start when needed (they had been out a few months before to get it in good working order). They asked my dad 'don't you have a family member or something that can come look at it?' Yep they did!

Please note that this was not a weekend or after hours, it was a Friday afternoon during the COVID-19 pandemic. I would never buy anything from this company or use them for service. I will tell everyone I know to go somewhere else, and you should too.

Don't waste your time on this company. I had an appointment for a on site visit to see about buying a generator and having it installed. Due to having a pet emergency and my wife going in to the hospital I had to cancel. This month I sent Rick a few emails asking to set up another appointment. Never heard back from him. There are too many electrical services in our area so no need to waste time on one who is so rude he can't respond. This is the type of attitude of a local Winslow business owner who will sit and wonder why Winslow residents don't provide a local business with their patronage.

In today's world of "quick-buck", fast talking shysters, it's difficult for the typical consumer of ANY product or service to know they are getting the most effective return on their hard earned dollar. Ideal Electric is certainly does NOT fall into that category in my opinion. As a home owner, you only know what you know and if you're not the jack-of-all-trades type, you're at the mercy of the experts you hire to build or fix the things you don't know how to.

We've been with Ideal Electric since my wife and I first hired them to rewire our entire apartment building, moving from the antiquated "knob and tube" to a more modern service. That was 20 years ago and we've never even considered any other company when it came to our electricity needs. Over the years they've done several projects for us and we've never experienced anything other prompt service before, during and after the job, more than reasonable prices, and top notch work.
