We went with CMI for our residential solar array in 2019, and the entire experience was positive. Every employee was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and every snag along the way was handled quite well to our satisfaction (any project as large as a solar installation will have bumps in the road!) CMI installed our whole home generator that ran flawlessly for over 7 years. The moment it had a problem and failed in a tropical storm, Matt the technician was literally there within 2 hours and was kind and sympathetic to our problem. He diagnosed the problem, order the part promptly, cautioning that it might be delayed due to COVID (luckily it was not).
They answered my messages even after hours on the weekend and are incredibly responsive. Their work is great, their customer service impeccable - a combination which is hard to find in the contractor world. This is a family run small business with hardworking, honest folks and I recommend them to anyone!

This is a larger electrical company. They used our house as an employee training center and we had a few unexperienced new electricians doing the work with one experienced professional electrician supervising. So they use the better employees for commercial jobs and train their new employees on residential jobs. I will not get into the details of their work, but would recommend if you decide to use this company that you explain to them that you do not want your house used to train their new employees. For the premium price we paid we did not get premium service.
