Above And Beyond Electric

We had a different plumbing organization replace a section of the main pipe in our yard. When they did they cut an electrical line running between our two street lights. While they said they would mark it they did not. Above and Beyond provided a quote, they were very helpful in scheduling and came out with all of the right tools to find the line and do minimal damage in location and reconnecting the line. Overall, we could not be happier with their service and are looking forward to using both their plumbing and electrical services on a bathroom remodel. The customer service was very helpful and the work was very professional.

John and the Guys were great. They were professional and explained every step of the process. The Ladies in the office were terrific, easy to schedule and kept us notified. We will definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.

Due to a fire and grounding hazard in the meter box, I was without power on Friday afternoon, before July 4th weekend. Despite the last minute notice on a busy day leading into a holiday weekend, Nathan and his crew came out that afternoon, and I had power again by 5:15 that evening. They were all very friendly, and the work was very well done. Several days later, when I began to have problems again, Nathan came back out after hours to personally assess and repair the problem, which was in the breaker box this time. I'm very impressed and would recommend this company as professional and courteous.

We had a few projects across the house 1) replace the single kitchen light with four canless LEDs, 2) add a canless LED over the sink on a separate on/off switch, 3) replace the single light fixture in the hall with two canless LEDs, and 4) install two canless LEDs in the laundry room. The electrician that surveyed the work pointed out some things to consider that we hadn't thought of and offered some options.

The electricians that showed up were professional, took pains to protect our kitchen from their work, and were only here a couple of hours. The work was top notch and we're happy with the results. I would use this company on my next project.

I recently needed to have electrical service installed for the dehumidifier in my home's crawlspace. John explained that he could easily have the power routed to the circuit panel instead of installing a separate 110-volt power outlet. He did a great job. John was on time, , very professional and friendly when doing the upgrade to our main panel. He worked quickly, neatly, and efficiently. He answered all my questions. We tested the functionality of the system after the upgrade. Everything worked perfectly. I would gladly do business with Above and Beyond Electric again. I worked the appointment with Pam and Kim in the front office. Both were courteous and helpful.

About a year ago, I used this company to service my home. The guy that came out was very professional and nice. Also the ladies that answered the phone were nice. This prompted me to call them again hoping to get this quality of service again. Well a guy named John came this time. I greeted him but no response. (I let that slide). So I showed him the dryer outlet, he just started taking off the plate and I said wait a minute you are supposed to give me an estimate first and he replied "oh yeah". (That wasn't good at all).

I wanted him to clean up the mess he made. No big deal. I cleaned it up. But the problem was he charged $182 just to replace the dryer outlet, since he took the plate off. I've allowed him to replace it. The price was just outrageous for a 5 minute job. That's about 3X more than what the average electrician would have charged. I pride myself on being nice to people and I expect the same in return. I was not only disappointed in the price but in the quality of service that he provided.

We had been accumulating a long list of non-urgent electrical repairs/upgrades but had been stalling on contracting the work because our electrician had moved. We were certain we couldn't replace his high quality service. A bath reno required a fixture install so we bit the bullet and contacted Above and Beyond. Now we're kicking ourselves that we waited so long because Rob at Above and Beyond truly is a "Light Magician"!

He installed a chandelier and can lights, moved outlets, got the unsightly wires from a mounted tv behind the tv so they aren't hanging down any more, moved the outlets around our garage doors so there weren't ugly hanging wires and fixed a burned up outside outlet on a lamp post.the list goes on and on, and he can do it ALL! Nice, thoughtful, and motivated by a desire to do things the right way to prevent any future problems is the way this company operates. If you need an electrician, call Above and Beyond!

I read online reviews and decided to schedule a service call for an electrical outlet issue. Pam scheduled an appointment and even called a few days early when a technician became available to make the service call. John was my primary tech, he had a helper but I didn't get his name. John was AWESOME! He quickly located the problem and solved it. I was very impressed because another electrician told me I needed a much more expensive solution when the source of the problem was simply a brand new outlet that had recently been installed but was defective. John also solved a minor lighting issue with a hall light that I wired incorrectly when I upgraded the switches. I highly recommend Above and Beyond, the service was great, everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional and the price for the service was very reasonable.
