Higher Power Electric

Higher Power Electric restored the power to my detached garage to the main electrical unit in the house. It was a big job, but they had a crew of 3 working on it from the early morning until later in the afternoon. They did a fantastic job! I will also say I was equally impressed with the owner, Patrick Payne. He returned my calls/emails promptly and was thorough in his explanations about what needed to be done! Last, but not least, he is very fairly priced. Considerably cheaper than other estimates I received, but top-notch high quality work!

I called for service due to random electric outlet failures in my house. Vicki listened to me carefully and asked pertinent questions to understand my exact problem, then suggested I try an easy fix, which even I could do, before I incurred the cost of a service call. I doubted it would work, but I was wrong! Vicki's suggestion worked like a charm and saved me both time and money. I will definitely call this business for any future electric needs!

7-1-20 UPDATE: I called the office and received a call back that day from Patrick the owner. He apologized for the misunderstanding and informed me that electrician was unaware the fees were already included in the quote. He explained that at times there could be additional cost based on different structural layouts, but in my case that was not the issue.

He promised to refund the additional charges via check. I think when dealing professionals it's important to maintain a level of integrity, and I believe Pat is a man of integrity. God is good 6/30/20 (Initial review): I called around to get quotes and they were not the most expensive or the cheapest, but I proceeded and felt my quote was reasonable for 2 ceiling fans and a chandelier.

I was quoted $125 a fan and $444 for my chandelier. When I called the office back and indicated I would only need 1 ceiling fan, not 2. She said to take $125 off and they'd be there at around 9:30. They got there around 10:00 and proceeded to review the job. The election said fans were $150,e ven though the work order he had in his hand showed $125.

He said their trip fee was $69(not included in my quote) and even though the order said "scaffolding" was extra, he proceeded to tell me I had to pay for the ladder! Which was an extra $80. Seriously? They were already in my house and I was not going to go back and forth with the labor, but I will call the office and express my opinion about bating customers with 1 price and charging $150 in extras that were not communicated. I mean goodness are you going to charge me for your gas and tools too? The installers were polite, but that doesn't account for their lack of transparency.

I had a great experience with Higher Power Electric. I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel, opened my souffits and found a huge mess of electrical wires. I thought it would be a very complex job, but the crew came in and made it look easy. They were very upfront about everything they were doing and very professional. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical work. Thanks for everything!

I knew from the moment I called Higher Power Electric and spoke with Vicki that this was a great company! She helped me try to troubleshoot my electrical problem over the phone, and was very kind and knowledgeable. Lyle was amazing to work with and is the nicest person! He quickly identified the problems in my home and fixed them in a timely manner.

He was exceptionally personable, genuine, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained everything (in terms I could understand) and identified several other electrical issues in my home. Prices were extremely reasonable for the great service! I will definitely be calling Higher Power in the future to upgrade my electrical panel and have recommended this company to friends and family. I would most definitely recommend Higher Power Electric for anyone looking for an electrician. My sister recommended them to me and I could not be more pleased with their service and professionalism. Their communication is great and let me know exactly when the electrician. Lyle, would be arriving at my home. Lyle was so professional and kind and probably the nicest person I've ever met!

Communication is the key, and they clearly need some keys. Good work, I say good because we now are seeing what they should have done in the time they were here, but it still doesn't beat not being told when they are showing or when they are done, three day garage job and then was taken off with wires hanging and outlets open by someone who doesn't even work there. Had Pat come over and tell me not to listen to John, even the workers had words about him, two weeks on and off with my business closed and trying to homeschool kids, big mess.

Don't worry though, they will blame me and or you, the customer, because they are right. We even had to unload supplies because no one showed up that day! Don't worry I got that three way switch to work, but thanks.

Very professional and show up when they say they will. Pat did a great job reviewing our new home and made great suggestions for a much needed new electric box. Nice friendly professional employees. Highly recommend them.

What an exceptional business to work with! From the first moment I looked up Higher Power Electric, they were so easy to work with the schedule an initial consultation within the week. John was very honest and open with his advise for how to upgrade our outdoor business lighting so that it was most effective, and he even took a drawing of our building plan so that he could provide a detailed proposal for our lighting.

I want to say a big thank you to Lyle, Eric, and Jim who performed our installation -- they walked me through everything and answered any and all questions I had. Thank you also to John and Vickie for being so pleasant and helpful! Our business has a hectic schedule, and they did everything they could to accommodate us, for which I am eternally grateful.
