Wire Craft Electric is an Award Winning Electrical Services Company Helping Families in Greater Seattle Since 2004. When it comes to electrical concerns in your home you want your problems solved quickly and professionally. At Wire Craft Electric, we are professionals at turning your concerns into a positive experience.
How often you get your electrical system inspected depends on how old your home is and what updates you have recently made. Most electricians recommend every 3 - 5 years. You should test your GFCI outlets at least twice a year at home. It's as simple as testing and resetting the buttons on the outlet.
There are usually two reasons why a homeowner would want to replace an electrical panel: 1) safety, and 2) acquire more amperage. Regardless of what bucket you are in, Wire Craft Electric can help you get your panel upgrades safely and ensure we adhere to strict electrical codes. Our electricians are up to date with the newest techniques to make your home safer and allow you the flexibility to add electrical circuits to upgrade other areas of your home. All our panel work is permitted and inspected by a third party to ensure that your system will be safe for years to come.
You can't go a day in Greater Seattle without seeing an EV on the road! Who wouldn't want an eco-friendly, money saving, and quiet car? If you are an electric car owner, Wire Craft can safely and effectively set up your home with a circuit for an electric car charger that will enable you to quickly charge your car efficiently.

Both of the electricians that I've worked with at Wire Craft Electric (Adam and Sean) were kind, informative, and thorough. Neither pushed for unnecessary work and both took care to assess the root cause of the issue. The Manager who answers the phone is also helpful, giving a few tips on how I could troubleshoot prior to having the electrician come out. All and all quality service.

After noticing our condo was dark during the dreary winter months, we contacted Wire Craft Electric and asked for ideas. The minute we called we knew we were in great hands. From the initial questions they asked, through the site visit and the final plan we agreed on, we could tell they knew exactly what we were looking for -- and more importantly how to do it at a very affordable price.
When the crews came to do the installation, they were professional, on time, thorough, efficient and neat and tidy. It took less time than we expected and we are thrilled with the results. Our living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light and the installation looks as if it's always been there. We are writing our thanks to Wire Craft from our brightly lit cheerful living room!.

The electrician was knowledgeable and competent and did good work, but the pricing structure is ridiculous. For example: Installing a ground-fault quad outlet was $369! (This would take a novice about 1/2 hour and cost about $30 for the outlet) Installing 3 smoke detectors $487! (This would take a novice maybe an hour, max, and cost about $60 for the three smoke detectors.) Then: $950 to install a single outlet in a basement where all the wires are exposed (no drywall to deal with or anything hidden at all).
This would take my handy husband about an hour and cost may $30. I could go on but you get the idea. Don't be fooled by the "Quote System", it'd be far cheaper to hire an honest by-the-hour electrician. After lamenting this bad decision, we found one who charges $125/hour, and could have done the work we wanted for considerably less than half of what Wire Craft charges. Just sayin. be careful with this company and what they say is a fair price.

The job was supposed to start tomorrow but Josh (owner) came over and looked at the project today and decided to start today so that he is sure he can complete the project by the end pf tomorrow. There is no over charge for the early start either. I recommend this company for almost all electric work.
