Prestige Electric Co-Florida

Everything about this company is wonderful. They have taken care of our electric needs on more than one occasion and have always been professional. They recently came out to diagnose and repair a short-circuit providing power to our sub-panel. The electrician stayed late (not overage fee) to make sure we were safe and promptly scheduled the full repair, which took several hours to complete. He was thorough, polite, and professional. I would not think twice about hiring Prestige to provide our electric repair or upgrade needs.

I recently purchased a property that was built in 1964. I had Prestige come out to replace the original electrical panel and figure out a bunch of the old wiring around the house for fairly competitive prices. The 3 service techs that we're in charge of my projects were efficient and able to complete within their timeframes. Highly recommend.

Scheduled them to install a transfer switch outside of my house to hook up a generator about a month ago which was supposed to take place last Monday. The morning of, they called me to tell me that the electrician called out sick and they cannot send anyone. I'd have to reschedule with Lucinda and she would call me the next morning. 2pm the next day, no call yet.

I called her, no answer. Called the general service line, no answer. I sent emails and left voicemails which were not responded to. The following day, I finally got a hold of Lucinda. No apologies for the issues so far, but rescheduled for that Saturday morning at 8Am. I went out of town and came back today(Monday), just to find out that yet again, the haven't sent anyone nor call for an explanation.

I called Lucinda, no response. Called the office, no response. This company is a joke. Do not waste your time and energy on them. They obviously are unprofessional and do not care about the clients.

I've used Prestige Electric 3 separate times and have had an amazing experience each time. Their scheduling and email confirmation system is top notch, and they always arrive on time. The technicians are great and take the time to do everything the right way. I will continue to use them and recommend them for all electric needs.

We chose Prestige Electric to run wiring to a new lift and to install additional outlets and a spotlight in our commercial building. Both the technicians and the office staff were wonderful. We're really happy with the outcome; they did quality work and completed everything on time. We would definitely use them again!

I can't say enough good things about them. They are on time or call if running late. Their prices are reasonable and they do great work. I have hired them for 3 or 4 jobs and they are my go to electrician for all my electrical needs.

Needed to have our HVAC brought up to code. Multiple companies came out and quoted around $450. Prestige Electric was one of them, but the final bill came to $699.00. I attempted to contact the company via phone and email to determine why there was over a 50% difference in price. They NEVER responded to me, I would NOT recommend them based on that customer service.

Branch manager was rude, argued with me over email. Wants to charge you for an estimate when they're competitors are willing to do it for free. I'm not going to pay you to see if i want to hire you. That doesn't fly. I was unsure if i wanted this company before I solicited their proposal. After dealing with their branch manager Lucinda Burton, I'm confident I will not be using this company and will be going with the local competition.

I have several free estimates from other companies. I'll leave the number of the one I end up going with so that whoever reads this doesn't have to throw their time away with Prestige Electric and can instead use a more qualified sub contractor.

Scheduled with them to have someone come out to look over a job and provide an estimate. Had a date and time arranged but nobody showed up when they were supposed to. About two hours after the person was supposed to arrive a technician called asking if the office had notified me that they would not be able to make it out. Nope. They said the office should be in touch the following day to reschedule, they did not call me to reschedule and I did not hear from Prestige Electric again. I had contacted three electrical companies, also All Phases and CDW, to provide quotes so Prestige eliminated themselves.

Our rental home had an electrical fire this morning and prestige was called out to replace our breaker and inspect for safety. The electrician did an amazing job and I can now sleep soundly knowing that my breaker box is safe again. Thank you so much prestige!
