Mr. Morales (and his son) are both expert in what they do. They are also both very professional and polite. I am always confident that if I call them about a problem - it will be fixed. This time I was in a panic because all my Christmas lights had gone out. Marcelino Moreno (and an assistant) came immediately to repair all of my outside outlets and switches. They understood the situation, got to work and it's Christmas again. Happy Holidays!

Mr. Almighty Electric did an excellent job on my commercial space and my home. They were prompt, professional, and attentive. Ed Morales, in particular, was very detailed oriented and made sure that the additional crew was focused and on task. I plan on recommending them to my friends and family and if I need anything in the future, they will be my first call.

Ed Morales was my technician. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a flickering light that wasn't installed correctly. So, he re-wired the light. Told me every step of the way what he was doing and what he was repairing. The service was done quickly. He called to let me know he was 20 min away so I had an idea of when to expect him. Overall great service.

Eddie from Mr. Mighty electricians was very punctual and knowledgeable. He located the electrical problem and explained to us the different options to solve it and the different price options. He also explained to us why our circuit breaker was off and showed us how to reset it properly. We really liked working with this company. They respond quickly, send you reminders, you already know in advance the name of the technician that is coming to your house, they are very punctual, and their prices are reasonable.

I definitely recommend Mr. Mighty Electricians! After leaving texts and messages with another electrician for a week, only to have him quote me a minimum price of $350 for the work, saying he might have an appointment the following week, I looked around for alternatives. Mr. Mighty was able to come over the afternoon the day I called, did the work for $250. The electrician, Edgar, was incredibly professional and completed the work in about an hour.

In a prior review I said, "We hired them for our older place. They used BX, not green field or conduit. They way overcharged us for the work they performed. We installed a new panel as well. We rehabbed our place after we used them and the electrician we hired said the place was not rewired, or wired correctly." They responded, "The misunderstanding falls now that you have hired someone to rehab your home and has misinformed you of what we actually did" Their response is fine, but we disagree.
The work they performed was not good and they didn't do what they said they would do. They installed BX, and not pipe. We had to redo a lot of the things they did. Their bill was over $4000. I would not recommend using them.

The technician was great, BUT they have hidden fees and their price list is highway robbery. They charged $49 just to walk in my Door, then another $225 JUST to diagnose and tell me what's wrong, and finally $403 to replace a $25 breaker. The diagnosing fee doesn't even go toward a repair.it's a compounding fee schedule. THEY WANTED $677 TO METER TEST AND REPLACE A $25 PART. A 15min JOB! Do yourself a favor and get an electrician that will give you a FREE estimate!

Consumers beware. Overcharging senior citizens and ripping them off. Was hired to fix one switch. One. Charged almost $300 just for diagnosing? That didn't even include fixing what he was hired to do There are definitely "reputable" electricians in the area. If you're reading this please look for another company

I sent a request through Yelp for a service appointment. I had some general questions and they rep was polite. I had a lot of questions about the service since I am a new homeowner. The technician only took approximately 45 minutes to make it to my home. He was very polite and took the time to explain all of the details with the service. In total my service was $169 for travel and to clean a flame sensor. It is not bad in comparison to some of the other quotes I was given.

Prompt, professional, reasonable. We had our electric completely out due to damage to the supply line on the outside of our building. They came right out. Since I was sort of desperate, I thought the estimator was going to stick it to me, so I was ready to pay a premium, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the fees were quoted from a laminated schedule - and they were reasonable. The work was completed professionally and promptly, including great coordination with Com-Ed. Also great email notifications.

I was having my new office fitted out and at the last minute realized I had not arranged for an electrician to connect the desks cable to the main outlet (a 1 hour job). After calling around I was struggling to find anyone that could do same day. After contacting Mr Mighty Electric, they had an electrician on site within 3 hours and he completed the work efficiently and effectively.
The gent was polite, organised and cleaned up spotlessly. I paid for the time he was here, so considering it was last minute, I was extremely happy. Would absolutely use again

Eddie Morales the Supervising Electrician was very professional. He was polite. Mr Mighty Electric upgraded my brakes box put in some new lines and added a ground line for the whole building. They' did excellent work. They cleaned up and came well equipped. They ordered a permit and make sure the City of Chicago Inspector came out to inspect their work and sign off for work well done. On top of all this excellent work their prices were very reasonable. I will continue to do repeat business with Mr Mighty Electric Sincerely Veronica F

Not happy at all with the service. Tech came out and inflated the problems I was asking him to fix. charged over $300 for a short inspection plus $49 service call. Emailed a ridiculous proposal for work. When I called to ask about it he came back and no solution was agreed upon. I asked if he job could be done a little cheaper and they never called back to discuss. Forget it.

Good job, but expensive. I had 3 pendant light fixtures changed, and a couple of wall outlet covers replaced, all of which took about 1 hrs work and was charged $500. He was coaching his son through the installation so he could get experience. After observing how easily light fixtures are exchanged, I wish I had more DIY saavy and saved money. Definately buyers remorse. Ricks polite questioning about how much my Gold Coast condo HOA fee and how much the light pendants cost were inappropriate. Bottom line. Don't hire them for an easy job. It's overpriced. Hire a handyman at a lower rate.

We had a very good experience with Rick from Mr. Mighty. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and polite. He thought ahead about what we might need with our fan installation and told us what questions to ask the light shop before we bought the fan/light. He was always on time and wore shoe covers when working in our house, which was thoughtful.
On his way out he asked if he could see the make/model of our fuse box to note it for any future calls. We would definitely call him for future jobs. Update: We did call Mr. Mighty again to have another fan/light installed in a different room. Rick was no longer with the company, but Frank and Ed did an equally fantastic job! Thank you very much!

I have just had two fantastic experiences with Mr. mighty, specifically with Rick. On our first appointment he installed a new light fixture in my daughters room and changed the location of a light switch panel in our master. He did both jobs successfully and efficiently. He was on time, polite, clean, prepared, and communicative. He was also personable, chatting with my curious children and indulging my puppy with a belly rub.
I loved the fact that there was a pricing guide for everything he did. No gray area when figuring out the cost of every step of the process. The second visit was to install a new bathroom fixture and ceiling fan in the master. He discovered that the new fan I had just purchased had a faulty wire that wasn't connecting to the lighting element properly.
After a bit of back and forth with the retailer I purchased the fan from, I was able to get the parts he needed to replace. And he came back when it was convenient for ME on the SAME day to install the parts and get my new fan up and running. Have you ever?! Awesome. Mr. Mighty and Rick, their rockstar electrician, define customer service and I will continue to use them going forward with all of my electrical needs. I give them my highest recommendation.

Job done, but expensive We had some flickering lights at all hours of the day, so we called mr. mighty. They got someone out here quickly, which was nice. The first day it cost 369 bucks to come out and inspect our panel and the service disconnects and the meter box - about 45 minutes or so. We scheduled saturday to replace the disconnects for the two units.
He didn't show up and called an hour afterwards apologizing. Re-scheduled for later the next week. and he replaced them - 550 dollars. He noticed the voltage wasn't right, so he called comed because he thought there was a problem with the incoming neutral. Comed came out and said the busbars in the meter box needed to be replaced. Our appliances were starting to fail because of the bad neutral, so i called them back and said come take care of it. 842 dollars. The job was completed, but I wish he had acted on the meter box that first day after seeing such corrosion. Probably could have saved 550 bucks

The company was very prompt, gave me an accurate time frame at which they could come out. The serviceman was very professional, let me know exactly what was wrong, and fixed it quickly. Even called the next day to ensure that everything was working properly. Great service, all around great experience.

Truly could not be more pleased. During my initial call the operator gave me instructions on how to find which breaker to turn off (the outlet was hot, smelled like it was burning and was buzzing! Yikes) before I even made an appointment for them to come out! Eddie immediately found water in my socket and went above and beyond by looking for (and finding!) the source of a small leak in the bathroom upstairs.
He took off the defective outlet & capped the wires. Suggested we run a fan on it for a few days and replace the GFCI. I initially called at 10:45 and by 1 pm was completely done! I'm so relieved. He went above and beyond and I will absolutely use them again.

I called about problems I having with a garage door opener. On the phone the dispatcher said they could send someone out for $49. A really nice guy showed up but immediately said he didn't know anything about garage doors. (?) he said he could do an inspection but it would cost $99. He took the switch off the wall and said he thought the circuit board was a problem but wasn't sure.
I asked if it might be the box on the ceiling. He said he didn't know. He took the cover off and looked at it but really was sure. He now thought it might be the box & the circuit, maybe also the cable. I told him that I didn't feel that "maybe this, maybe that" was worth $99. Long story short, we called his supervisor, spoke to Eddie who said I didn't have to pay anything.
I told him I was willing to pay the $49 since someone did have to come out, but he said it was okay. The problem seems to have with the dispatcher not sending the correctly trained technician and not with the technician. I appreciate Eddie not charging me. Hence the 3-start rating. I really can't say if their work is good or bad, but they seem fair.
