The lack of good communication is a red flag, especially when it comes to contractors who may eventually be hired to work on your property; unfortunately this team lacks good communication. Fortunately we discovered this early in the process. This coupled with the lack of respect of someone's property (started drilling into our walls without even asking for permission) gave us more than enough signal to refrain from hiring them.

Excellent! This company has helped us for many years on different electrical projects inside/outside and around our home. They are kind and professional and their rates are fair. If there is a problem or delay we are quickly advised. Sanchez Electric is our "go-to" electrical contact. Greg and Gilbert are truly helpful and make clear and logical suggestions when necessary.

I would stay way from this company. Find someone who values their customers and will complete the work as promised. I had hired them to re-do electrical and hide the wires in my garage. We agreed on a price and I was told they will finish in a day. It took them a day and half and didn't complete the work. The electrician said he'll need another day and will come to finish the next day.

Now being told that they have already spend more time then anticipated and won't finish the project unless I pay more. My mistake on already paying them before the job was complete.

I really appreciate getting a free estimate. We had several lights and electrical issues. They were professional and very courteous. Their price for all the work was reasonable. They even helped us pick some lights that were better for what we wanted. And they even followed through with our door bell that kept giving us problems. Great job!

I got referred to Gilbert through one of my contractors as I am building up my pie shop in San Jose. What a BLESSING it was! Gilbert's work is detailed. He will not charge you more than what he quoted you. His prices are SO reasonable. He and his team are very polite, friendly and he will be with you from beginning to end, always going the extra mile, making sure that your interest is top of mind.

My dishwasher was tripping the breaker. The team came out the following day to fix the problem. They were professional, polite and wore masks (COVID-19). prices are more than reasonable. I'd definitely recommend them. Great job.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Given all the power outages in California, I needed to find a way to keep my home-based office up and running. I contacted the company and they were very prompt in responding. I was provided with several options, and the installation occurred immediately thereafter. I am now able to power up several rooms in my home, including my office and all equipment, with the new electrical panel and a generator. Many thanks to everyone at Sanchez Electric. I highly recommend them.

I spoke to Gilbert about getting an estimate. He said he would call me to schedule a time on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday. He did not call.

After getting two quotes for electrical work that were OUTRAGEOUS, we were referred to Gilbert. He came out and took a look at our wiring and our electrical box and definitely recommended a full rewire (which I knew we needed.) His team was able to start the job later that week and were done within a week. The team was SO RESPECTFUL of our house and did their absolute best to not cut into our walls (which I also knew was going to need to happen) We had one issue with the dryer and it causing the circuit to pop but his team came out right away and fixed it, no questions asked. We have had NO issues with our electrical since and are so pleased with the work done at the price. I couldn't recommend them more.

Sorry to post this - I am a returning customer who has recommended Gilbert and Sanchez electric to family member- Someone came out over 3 weeks ago and gave us a quote - I had to call twice just to get the quote - we agreed on a price - and after 2 emails and a phone call - They said they would try and fit me in - this was a week and a half ago - still waiting - Must be nice to be so busy to ignore returning customers- I can understand being busy, but then don't offer to take on a new job and leave customers in limbo - I will try angies list at this point and look for a new electrician

My company has had Sanchez do everything from small projects to major commercial upgrades since 2012. They respond quickly, are great and easy to work with, and do an amazing job. We've convinced all our neighboring companies to use them as well. We haven't had a contractor yet beat the service, price, and quality from Sanchez.

We had electrical issues and my friend referred me to Sanchez electric. I told Mr. Sanchez we had no electricity and came over the same day and fixed our problem. He is a very nice person & gave us suggestions. Highly recommend this business.

Sanchez electric worked with our schedules to come and fix an issue (cut electrical line) caused by our roofers. They diagnosed the situation quickly, were cautious of making a mess in the house, and even took pictures to document their before and after work as they were working in the attic where I couldn't see.

Got a referral from the contractor that was doing our heating and A/C upgrade. They came in promptly for an appointment and gave us a very reasonable quote. We did have some questions based on previous feedback from other electricians and they helped us clear them up. They pulled the permit as requested. We did encounter some issues. First of, follow up communication (at least with the guy we were working with) was spotty.

This made scheduling the actual installation a bit unpredictable. The work itself was OK. We had to ask them to come back to connect an outlet that they left disconnected and explain the connections in the new panel. Extra star for the service. Gilbert himself came out to do some inspections, clarify some questions, and review the issues we were having.

Our power went out on NYE around 8pm. PG&E advised us that our main breaker needed to be replaced. We had a house full of guests and needed to find an electrician. We contacted Gilbert Sanchez around 10pm and he agreed to come check it out without hesitation. He replaced the main breaker and had us back up within minutes! We really appreciated his attentiveness and willingness to come on such a short notice! Thank you so much!

I am a HVAC contractor that have sub-contracted my electrical work to many electricians over the past 35 years and I can say Gilbert and his people have done better than a great job for me. They work very well with my customers and city inspectors. I know things will be done right at the right price. I look forward to many more years of working with them.
