I had an electric vehicle 240V outlet installed in December of 2021. After reaching out online, Jim was very responsive and walked me through the whole project. He was able to give me a quote over the phone, unlike all of the other electricians I had initially contacted. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the professional service. If you are looking for a local professional who won't BS you, Jim's your guy.

Jim did a fuse box replacement and service upgrade for me in 2018. I was on a tight timeline, needing to replace an old 60 amp fuse box (and messy sub-panel) in order to clear a home insurance requirement. Jim worked with me and finished the whole thing in one long day. He cleaned up a whole tangled mess of wires into a beautiful new panel that met the insurance requirement, passed inspection no problem, and gave me capacity for future improvements I wanted. His price was better than others, and he willing to work in a whole house surge protector I was interested in. Four years later, his work still seems top-notch.

Called back right away said he would get back to me the following week to schedule after he talked to my husband. I didn't hear from him so I called him and asked when he would be out. Called back and said he didn't have the equipment on the truck that he needed so he wouldn't be able to come out and I should find another electrician. Great Idea! Would not recommend.

Jim did amazing work for me on a subpanel install for my garage! He was on time, professional, and his work was spot on! He spent the day with me and I felt like he was a family member doing the work! I had other quotes from other local companies and they were no were no match for Jim! My garage is now charged up! We are in the process of selling our home and needed to replace the electric panel in our newly sheet rocked and painted basement. We went down once he had the panel in and immediately noticed a big gouge in the sheet rock and another big gash - we were not informed when it happened and then when we asked Jim, he said he dropped the panel and hit the wall - no apologies or offer to fix or discount our service at all. ** Response to owner below: I work from home and it does not matter where I was as, Jackie spent the day upstairs as well and there was no mention of the damage until she seen it. It needs more than paint to fix and it was brand new sheet rock and paint and you brushed it off like no big deal.**

I've been a customer of Total Electric for over 10 years. Most recently, Jim installed 2 outlets, a ceiling fan and 2 exterior lights. I am extremely pleased with the results. When the inspector came to approve the modifications, he noticed that Total Electric was my electrician and commented, "Jim does great work." In my opinion, to have an inspector's compliment is very high praise.

I needed 1 of those 2 outlets for a bidet. Prior to my appointment, Jim asked some great questions about the bidet specs, the electrical panel, etc. that confirmed that I would need a dedicated circuit. He is very knowledgeable. When Jim arrived at my home, he found an unused dryer outlet and was able to cap off that outlet so he could use the existing circuit for the bidet, which saved me a lot of money. I highly recommend Total Electric.

Jim is a busy man and when he arrived to install lights and replace a circuit box in my home, I understood why. He asked lots of questions to understand exactly what I wanted. He was meticulous in his installation and wiring. He is very familiar with electrical code, the inspectors and inspection process. Everything was done well, in the expected time and for the expected price. I couldn't be happier with his work!

Very professional and personable. I called and he got me on his schedule very quickly. He came over to diagnose and fix issues from another "well-known" electrician company. Found my issue and fixed it quickly and also helped me with another issue with a wall heater in the bathroom. Also his prices are very fair. I definitely recommend Total Electric.
