These guys were extremely responsive and great to work with. Alex came out for our home inspection on short notice (in a crazy market) and gave us an estimate right away. Then as soon as we moved in a few weeks later, his team came and copalumed all of the aluminum wiring throughout our house and garage in under 2 days. They even got us in a week early due to a change in their schedule.
As it turned out, the kitchen/living area were in better shape than expected, which meant they had a little extra time, and we had a little extra money in the budget. So we asked them if they could go ahead and install ceiling fans on short notice while they were there, and they did! They also did a great job staying focused and cheerful even though my very outgoing 9-year-old kept showing up and asking them what they were doing while they were working. And we have so much more peace of mind knowing that our aluminum wiring isn't going to cause a fire. I would definitely recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about the folks at Aluminum Wire Repair, especially after seeing the inside of the outlets in my old house. I can't say enough great things about Alex, Bob, and Art. i bought a house built in the 60's with aluminum wiring and had them come through to make sure everything was ok. they recommended permanent mitigation with copalum in one level of the house and gave me a quote. they worked their schedule to fit my house in because it was vacant (putting their entire schedule into chaos just to take care of me), got everything done in a couple days (like 80 connections or something crazy), AND got it all done $1,000 below their quote. they did panel work, moved some outlets for me, and all of the copalum UNDER their quote. oh, and they guarantee their work with a lifetime warranty. they were responsive, delightful, and so very wonderful to work with the entire time. i'm so glad i chose them to do this work. i really can't thank them enough for how well they treated me and the quality of their work. if you have aluminum wiring, these are the guys to talk to about options to permanently mitigate it. they are absolutely worth the money. you won't find better aluminum wiring specialists.

My family is forever grateful for Alex, Bob and Art and the COPALUM full home aluminum wire remediation that they performed in March 2020. Since moving into our home and finding out that we had aluminum wiring, I had been unsettled. Anytime a light would flicker or dim I would have scary thoughts. Alex came prior to the job starting and gave an extremely thorough inspection and let us know what to expect.
Then when it came time to the work starting, my wife and I were blown away by the professionalism and expertise exhibited by Art and Bob (one of the co-owners). They were upfront with which areas were going to be needing to be worked on and allowed us to easily work around their jobs. They were able to run extension cords to ensure that we didn't lose power to important areas like internet as well.

We recently purchased a home and it ended up having aluminum wiring. As many know this can be a big issue. There are a few short term fixes that need constant maintenance but the Copalum service that Aluminum Wire Repair offers not only makes you feel safe but is widely accepted as the only permanent fix to aluminum wiring. In addition Bob & Alex (owners) are all around nice guys, easy to work with, and finished on schedule. I highly recommend their services.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with these guys. We looked them up because they offer Copalum crimp method for repairing aluminum wiring, which we had heard was expensive but the best way to go. Alex responded right away and came out that week to give us a quote which was MUCH more reasonable than we were expecting. They got us on the schedule right away and finished the job in about a week.
I work from home full time and they were so thoughtful around accommodating my schedule and very enjoyable to have around the house. My dog was depressed for weeks after they left because he loved having them around so much! :-

Your home is usually the most expensive thing you will ever purchase. Don't risk your investment or your family's safety by taking a shortcut on something as important as your homes wiring. I have talked to a few electricians that don't have a clue about what copalum mitigation is so please do your own research. The "cheaper" purple wire nuts only move the potential short from the plug to the splice they don't eliminate it.
That being said this company is the most professional, courteous and personable I have ever dealt with. Alex is genuinely concerned with providing the best possible quality to his customers and everyone that works at this company is just as passionate. This quality focused approach has earned a customer for life.

Alex and crew repaired our aluminum wiring on our 1970's home when we bought it 14 years ago. We have had no electrical issues since. Alex and Bob's team did the copper/aluminum fix on my house when I bought it 4 years ago. They warranty the work for the life of the house and stand by it. Last week the buyers of this house had a small issue with the electric, one call and Bob came by that afternoon to fix at no cost, with a great attitude. Solid guys!
