They installed a whole-house backup generator. The entire experience was exceptional from the quote (Frank McMillen is exceedingly professional), through the scheduling, to the installation. They created a good plan, showed up on time, and completed the work without a hitch and on schedule. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR YOUR electrical contracting needs. I previously worked with Roger Thomas on some new product beta testing and it looks like he chose a great buyer of his business (RB Thomas)!

We had Tom and Jeff stop out at our house today and perform a number of electrical services. Probably the most satisfying experience we've had with someone coming out to the house to do service. These guys were knowledgeable, on time, listened to our requests and then came up with ideas that we did not even think of. They were courteous, put booties on every time they entered and finished much quicker than we expected. We now have a permanent electrical company that we will always use!

We had a fairly small job to add recessed lighting in our family room that had vaulted ceilings with a pretty big pitch. Tom and his crew did an absolutely amazing job installing these low profile LED lights! They were very careful with cutting into the drywall making sure that cleanup and finishing would be easy. Tom is very pleasant to work with - friendly, professional and Always in a good mood, no matter what pressures he is faced with. Great experience and I would highly recommend STG for anyone looking to get quality electrical work done in their home.

Called to get an ESTIMATE. Guy showed up when I wasn't there and then kept calling me from an UNKNOWN number. Said someone would get back to me with a quote. Took over a week and got a quote of $1300. They also took random items from my yard and "fixed" them and then tried to charge me for them or else they said I WOULDNT GET THEM BACK. The following week I had another company complete the job for $200. WOULD NEVER EVER EVER RECCOMMEND!

Never got back with me! So I called and they still didn't get back with me. So when I finally ( I called again)spoke to Rose her attitude was more like so. I don't want to feel like I was treated differently because of my race. But Her professionalism was out of the door!

Had a small but difficult job, installing recessed LED retrofits in a 20 foot ceiling that wouldn't accommodate an extension ladder. These guys were outstanding; scheduling, on time, professionals and meticulous about everything. Icing on the cake was they charge time and materials, none of that throw a number out and see if the customer will pay it. Lot of ripoff artists out there, nice to find an ethical company for once.

Installed a new entry chandelier in a 20 foot entryway. Very professional, quick and clean. Define would use again. Great guys

I had an excellent experience with R.B. Thomas. I had an issue that required coordination with Ohio Edison, an electrician, and the city for a permit and inspection. R.B. Thomas coordinated with all parties, so I didn't have to, and the process was completely seamless. The tech that performed the job, Jamaica, was so professional and pleasant, and he worked FAST.

Upon completion, my issue was resolved and passed inspection by the city, for a fraction (literally) of the cost that I had been quoted elsewhere. I'll be calling them for any future needs, and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Wow! I just had a great experience - with an electrical contractor no less. I had some complex issues in adding some 115 VAC and 220 VAC electrical outlets in one of my commercial properties and wanted to make sure the power coming into my building and its distribution panel was sized properly to do that. A very nice man came out that same day to assess the situation.

He was everything you want a service person to be: polite, courteous, knowledgeable and honest - he even wore booties in my commercial building to protect the carpeting! Within an hour, he had identified exactly what could be done safely and most cost-effectively. He developed an installation plan for me on the spot and scheduled an appointment to get the work done that same week.

Everything was done on time and worked great. I was able to use all of the appliances I needed knowing I had a safe and efficient installation. Double thumbs up for RB Thomas Electric. Any time I need electrical work done I call them first!
