Really the worst. Moved into an apartment where the previous tenants moved out without disconnecting and owed a bill. Went through 4 different people giving me different/ same answer. The previous tenants average electric use over 2 or 3 months was like 900$ so in order to get new electric we had to pay a 900 deposit BASED ON THE PREVIOUS TENANT BILL. PLUS A NOTARIZED LEASE.

Then my bf goes 2 the electric company in person and they said oh no just open a new account with a lease. JUST NOW WE GET A BILL FOR 1000 97 $PLUS 930 DEPOSIT THEY TOLD HIM IN PERSON THEY WEREN'T GONNA DO. So now we gotta pay 1000 by July 1st when previous on the phone they told us it could be spread out over 3 or 4 months. YOU GUYS ARE THE WORST, INCOMPETENT, LYING SACKS. PUNISHING NEW TENANTS BECAUSE OLD TENANTS DIDNT PAY. AND THEIR USAGE "450 MONTH "SUPPOSEDLY WAS BECAUSE THEY DIDNT PAY THEIR ELECTRIC BILL MONTHLY. THAT WASN'T THEIR TRUE USAGE. IT USED TO BE 200$ FOR A NEW ACCOUNT DEPOSIT.NOT BASED ON PREVIOUS TENANTS USAGE.

Well I made cash payment of 1000.00 at northfield location. got my bill they have no payment received. now I have to look for the tiny recipe the lady wrote out. I would like to know if the establishment has cameras. someone had a nice holiday on my family

I am being charged for bills I know I don't owe! We have 70 solar panel and haven't had a bill in years. We always have credit. Our KW from year to year are very close in numbers. I have called repeatedly. I call customer service and the solar department. The customer service department tells me that they send emails with urgency to the solar department.

They assure me that I will receive a call back! I got called once on a " Scam Likely" number. I almost didn't answer. I spoke with Ms. Spradley(? Spelling). She told me to get the KW numbers from our solar company and she would call me back. I got the numbers and of course, I didn't receive a call back! We did pay the bill, but we need to be reimbursed!

Now we have another bill over $200.00 more?!?!? Again, no answer no resolution. I am beyond frustrated! I will keep posting until I get some answers! No bill for years now getting very high bills. UGH!

Tried to call them to explain a transformer was smoking out front of a house I drove by. They wouldn't take the info without the account info of the closest homeowner. How is that an effective way to gather information? Sure enough, transformer blew that next morning. Terrible company, terrible processes - explains why it takes forever for them to get anything done at all.

Lost power for multiple days in the middle of summer. Couldn't even talk to someone on the phone. Complete scam company.

I have been trying for over a year to get a new meter. Something is terribly wrong when my bill was over $1000 last July. I Proved it was a misread of my meter. But when adjusted still over $600. These bills were and are astronomical for a 1400 square foot primarily gas run home. My home was totally weatherized 3 years ago. And has an updated heating/cooling system.

I called 4 months ago because this meter is very old. And a bad meter is the only explanation, I could come up with for why, I'm getting these outrageous electric bills. My neighbors in the same homes are paying about $150 a month. People with homes twice as big are not paying what I've been paying. Last month was the first decent bill I have seen in years.

And this month over $100 more then last months bill. And we didn't do anything different than we normally do. We are and have been an energy efficient home. I ask your company once again to please replace my meter. Or send someone out to figure out what is going on. The last resort for me is to get the NJ Public Board of Utilities involved. And find out what action I need to take to stop this robbery from this electric company.

I'm tired of being taken advantage of. And I have not gotten any response from Atlantic City Electric. It's not professional and I believe is illegal to take money from customers for electric that, I know we are not using. I implore Atlantic City Electric to replace my meter immediately. The bills speak for themselves showing the inconsistencies over a 2 year period.

They always come up with some excuse why my bills are so high. I have asked them several times to replace my meter. The last time they said they would send someone out. And that they would reach out to me after.

And never did! But, then following bill was significantly lower. So, I thought they fixed the problem. Now, it's starting to go up again. And for no reason. We haven't even turned on the central air yet. There is no reason why our bill is now over $100 more this month then last month. We are being robbed by this Utility Company!
