There's a reason this company has been around for over 70 years. They have great leadership and make sure the job is done right. The focus is on quality and safety first from what I've seen.

Baker Electric is family owned. Mr Baker, although a senior is hands on and will bend over backwards to help. His is a small crew but very professional. When covid was running rampant I needed an electrician. He answered on his cell as he was on the job as usual. I explained my dilemma and Covid or not he said he would see what he could do. Our location is rural and not easily accessed. He did what he said. I got a call in a few days and we were back in business. The work was superb and competitively priced.

Thanks to Baker Electric my LG Solar Battery is again online and functioning properly. Sullivan Solar, now out of business, put my battery in hibernation mode over a year ago so I called Baker to see if they could help me out. David from Baker was up to date on what needed to be done and went the extra mile communicating with Solar Edge to get my system working properly again. For all of Sullivan Solars' customers who are in the same predicament I highly recommend this company.

Had HVAC and solar panels installed. From start to finish everyone at Baker has been very professional. Kept us informed of timeline and progress. Had a small delay finishing up the roof but was weather related. One of the best regarding price, service and quality. Highly recommend.

The only issue is time delays between initial call requesting service and actually getting scheduled.typically a week or more and several calls. The service guys (once scheduled) are prompt and knowledgeable and get things fixed.

Baker Electric installed my Solar System, upgraded my service pane, and installed my Mitsubishi split air conditioning system. Robin R. provided very timely and professional service. He very quickly found the electrical issue causing an interruption of service. I felt in good hands without the need to feel concerned about running up a bill for his time. Baker Electric showed up at my door to do a repair on a "1950's" whom, of which they are neither licensed nor qualified to perform under the National 1978 Repair, Renovate and Painting act, which requires Baker Electric to be lead based certified in order to perform such work, of which they are not. This "work" person showed up, which Baker Electric has refused to give me his name, was done so at the behest of my landlord, Christine Lombardo who is a known to hire unlicensed contractors and cheat both municipalities and the State of California out of contracting fees and more importantly, safe practices to ensure the safety of her tenants whom she neither cares about or the state and cities upon whom she is cheating out of taxes, fees and permits.

To my astonishment, this person whom I told was not to do any repair work in my home, due to his failure to hold a valid certified lead contractors license to do so, was found in my living room, turning my lights on and off. I immediately told them they were illegally trespassing and I called the Vista Sheriff. Both the contractor and the landlord Christine Lombardo left the premises before the Sheriff arrived, which is very odd if you feel that you are legally on the premises and there to do legitimate repairs without malice.

Baker Electric is an excellent company to contract with. We had the pleasure of working with Randy and Junior recently at a property in Carmel Valley. Both gentlemen were extremely professional and worked diligently to resolve issues. As a contractor it is of upmost importance to be on time and maintain a high level service, both gentlemen do this well. We appreciate these guys and look forward to referring them to our clientele.

As big as the Baker Electric name is around here for solar, we were very disappointed with the way our solar and battery system installations went. The sales staff, although nice was completely lacking, and the project coordinators were far worse. The only reason that they are getting a three star from us is their technicians that came out to the house for both the PV System and the battery were great.

To do it again, we would have tried our luck with another company that we were looking at. That said, our system gets the job done and I encourage everyone in Southern California to opt for the battery (ours is Tesla). You are doing yourselves a dis-service if you don't.
