I had a great experience with Shepp Electric. Craig Shepp arrived on time for the estimate and was cordial and professional. He explained what needed to be done, how it would be done and answered my questions. I picked Shepp Electric because of their price and their professionalism. My generator was installed on May 26, 2020 by Jason, Charlie, Luke and Joey.
The job was done thoroughly and quickly - in about 5 hours. Each guy in the crew knew what they had to do and they worked well as a team. When the installation was completed they cleaned up the area. I also had them install a new outside light with a sensor and they worked patiently while setting the light angles and sensor activation distance. They were not in a hurry to just get it done, but rather they wanted to do it right. Almost a year later and I have had zero issues with my generator and it has come in handy on at least 3 occasions when the power was out.

They installed generator for our residential facility and never worked from day one. Didn't check to make sure gas lines were correct size, didn't check to make sure the until actually worked, and when contacted wanted to blame other people. Would not use at all zero percent. We are a nonprofit agency and it was a huge expense for us to purchase and install and it was just a large waste of money.

Clint gave me a complete quote with in-depth course on how the Generac generator works and how it is installed. The quote included the Generac generator, permit, installation by a licensed Electrican and annual maintenance program to keep the system functioning for many years to come. These items were very important to me. The quote was the best of the two quotes that I obtained.
My research reviewed the the Generac System is the most efficient system on the market (quiet and consumes less fuel to operate) The Generac System makes it possible for one to live in their home forever. All medical devices can be powered by the generator just like at the hospital or assisted care facility. As a retired registered nurse I believe that this is a necessary item.
On the day of installation the employees showed up early to do the work, explained the process, completed the work and cleaned up. Shepp Electric Company has professional and competent employees.

My husband and I recently had Shepp Electric install a Generac Generator. Right from the first initial contact with Clint, they were great. He was on top of every email sent and answered any questions right away. The technicians (Luke & Jason) were there right on scheduled time and had our install done in no time. Maybe 5 hours, max. They were polite, professional and efficient. I would recommend Shepp Electric to anyone.

Just a note to say thanks to Shepp and their fantastic team of technicians, 2 of whom spent the day at our house yesterday installing, configuring and training us on the use of a Generac 16kw whole house backup generator. As is the norm for our home, it's always a little more difficult due to the lack of a basement, requiring everything to be run in the crawl space under the house.
They performed admirably, completing an otherwise difficult job in an efficient manner, detailing the changes to our house 'grid' and what to be aware of as far as backup generators go. Both Brian and Joe were a pleasure to have at our home, which turned out to be nearly an 8hr job, start to finish. On a cold, blustery day they seemed unaffected by the conditions, working methodically and taking the time to explain just what was happening whenever I inquired about a particular item.
In addition to cleaning up and consolidating some extraneous grounds in our main panel, they left the work area clean and nicely buttoned up before leaving the job site. Ya just never know what you're gonna get when having contractors over to do some work; some are rushing, some are moving slowly, some seem like they'll never get the job done or, at the very least, get the job done in accordance to the initial proposal/estimate.
In this particular case, I couldn't think of anything else they could have done to exemplify the phrase 'Service Excellence'. Top notch and highly recommended, and entertaining to boot. Thanks to all at Shepp, especially Brian and Joe; couldn't ask for anything more from initial appointment and consultation to pulling out of our driveway at the end of the install. Kinda actually looking forward to our next power outage.

I decided to go with Shepp for my generator because they're an authorized Generac dealer which I figured would be better if I had any warranty issues. I never regretted that decision. They were knowledgeable about their product, the technicians were very neat and pleasant, everything went very well. And they were actually cheaper than the other estimate I got for a smaller generator. I was very happy with the whole experience.
