Quality Switch is a manufacturer of a wide variety of de-energized tap changers and electrical switches used primarily in transformers and load centers, but can be applied wherever power is controlled. The current company president, Larry Dix, came to Quality Switch in 1995 with a background as an engineer in the transformer industry. He shifted the focus of the company to engineering and design in addition to manufacturing. The majority of the switch designs are backed by independent or in-house testing.

Quality Switch, Inc. manufactures a broad range of custom and standard de-energized tap changers (DETCs) and switches for the electrical industry. De-energized tap changers (DETCs) are also commonly referred to as off-circuit tap changers (OCTCs). The bulk of our product is used by transformer manufacturers that serve utility and industrial markets, and in general, are non-load break devices.
Quality Switch is committed to the highest quality.it's up to us. Quality is in our name! Much time and energy is spent on engineering, design, and development, but we realize all of that effort is only worthwhile if the product is built properly. To this end, a rigid Quality Control program has been in place for a number of years.
