Heat shrink tubing is a type of tube that contracts, or shrinks when it's warmed or heated. Placing an unshrunk tube around a wire, it is slipped into place after the connection is made then shrunk tightly around the joint with a hot air gun or other heat applying tools. Some heat shrink tubes have been pre-lined with adhesive to create a tighter, longer-lasting and waterproof seal. When the heat is applied, the material inside contracts and binds the wires or cables inside to secure and stabilize them.
Heat shrink tubing serves as an effective method for binding wires and cables together, as well as protecting cable connections by encasing electrical wires with tubing that can shrink down in size. Because this tubing can shrink in size, it can effectively seal off the wires from outside interference or interaction with neighboring wires.
Our PVC heat shrink tubing has a low shrink temperature and superior strength. Both our thin wall heat shrink tubing and medium wall heat shrink tubing have been engineered for total compatibility with PVC jacketed wire and cable to insulate, identify, bundle, protect, repair and beautify in electronic, electrical and mechanical applications.

Called and ordered 100 feet of heat shrink tubing, a week later they hadn't charged me or sent an invoice so I called back 3 or 4 times, when I finally got through they told me they didn't have 100 feet so they were stalling until they could get more (would have been nice to let me know). They said they could ship me 39 feet, we agreed and they sent it, they charged me more than I was quoted and I still haven't seen an invoice or a bill. Frustrating experience, I hope yours is better.
