I recently purchased an older home that was built in the 1940s sight unseen. I asked my realtor about many things, but neglected to ask if it had a coax cable outlet and assumed that everywhere must have one these days. To my great surprise, my new home totally lacked one. After researching a bit online, I came to the conclusion that calling an electrician was the best course of action.
Right Way Electric came out the next day and installed a brand new coaxial outlet incredibly fast. They did an excellent job fishing it (I think that's the term) through the walls and putting it in exactly the right place. The two guys that came out friendly, courteous, and quick. When I had Xfinity/Comcast come out to connect the cable to their box, they commented on the excellent job the electricians did. The only thing that I would have liked that they didn't offer is the ability to pay right then rather than get billed. That's a relatively small issue, though!

They were very helpful and answered my question. Was easy to contact. Tried to get a hold of two different places never heard back from them. This was suggested from a co-worker. Was able to contact them right away. Came in and put two outlets in, in a few hours. Kept everything clean too. Will go with them again in the future when I need more done.

We had a man named "Eric" come out yesterday to replace our electrical mast and install an outside outlet to use with our generator during power outages. It was a lot of work. He coordinated with CPI for the power turn off/on. He showed up on time and went right to work. He was so professional and did an amazing job. Finished early and he cleaned up, something many professionals fail to do. I love this company they are the ones to turn to if you have an electrical need.

It has been our pleasure to have RWE do some work for us in the past, but we are very grateful for the job they did installing our "power-outage" by-pass switch. Not only was our electrician, Ely, knowledgeable but he was observant and found some existing bad wiring that he was able to correct before it became a problem. We asked for a couple of change orders during the installation and he was more then happy to make them without hesitation. We highly recommend RWE for any of your electrical work, their standard operating procedure is much more than merely satisfactory.

Making an appointment was as simple as a phone call, they were booked out 1 week, but my project was nothing pressing. They arrived in the time frame I was told, called ahead and were polite and clean. They listened to what I needed, which was a doorbell transformer located and replaced. They were in and out like a fiddlers elbow! I don't have the bill yet so I don't know if quick jobs are the flat one hour or quarter hour fee, but assuming the bill is fair I'll have them back out for a near future project. Update: They charge a minimum of 1 hour, which would have been nice to know when I asked about the hourly rate.
My mistake for not specifically asking, especially when I was 95% sure the job would only take 30 minutes. (I was correct) If you have a small electrical job it might be worth calling around or finding a handyman with more reasonable small job rates. Update after hiring them a 2nd time: I had another small job of swapping out a 220 outlet for a 110 for a new oven.
We were switching from gas to electric. We purposefully bought the oven prior to having the electrical or gas ran to ensure proper placement of both outlet and gas line. I wanted to give them another shot because I have a kitchen and bathroom reno planned, along with some outdoor outlet needs. On the day of I mapped out my work day to make it so I could be home during the 3 hour arrival window.
He called and was gonna arrive 1 hour early. It was a mistake on my part to be flexible and allow him to, my better half was not prepared to ask any questions and he did not offer up his game plan or ask any either. When I got home and realized he put in a 4" ish electrical box (220 box was 2.5") and my oven was now off the wall and sticking out into what is already a small kitchen, I called and he came back out. Additionally the outlet direction didn't allow for the oven to be plugged in, which could have easily been tested with the oven being mere inches away.
In the end he went and got a smaller slim box and switched the outlet around to allow the oven the be plugged in, but I had to pay for the first visit so being flexible cost me $56. To top it off, the first visit he had included the 25 minutes he sat in his van to his actual 30 minutes of work and they charge by the hour. The manager ended up correcting the bill and removing the 25 minutes where he sat in the van (I have an outdoor camera.) I however don't think they are super thorough when working, otherwise they would have considered the location of the plug, direction, size etc.

Their name says it all. Excellent phone and in person customer service. Their final billed price was well within what was quoted over the phone. When a miscommunication happened regarding our appointment, they went above and beyond to make it right. Friendly, professional, upbeat. I highly recommend them.

This review is in regards to customer service only. Unfortunately, i was unable to use their service. The customer service representative i spoke to would not provide any quote or generally information related to cost of services because i did not own the home i was asking about. We are in the process of purchasing said home and need a quote to base our repair addendum off of.
I did not ask for, nor provide, any personal information on the home. I simply asked what it might cost to install a few wall heaters on a home. It seems odd that a person cant get general information related to cost unless they own a home. Seems like they would want to provide "fact finding" type information to any client. Fortunately, there are plenty of other companies who were willing to do so for us.

Rite Way did a great job! Ben was hugely helpful over the phone when I called to make the appointment. He gave me several suggestions for things I could try myself to fix the problem, and things that I could try prior to the electrician's arrival in order to save money. When Blake got there to do the repair, he was prompt and efficient and really helpful. Five stars!

If I could give them no stars I would. We had a horrible experience with two gentlemen from Rite Way Electric. One of the gentlemen did not say a word. The other was pushy and arrogant. He would barely let me finish a sentence when I was trying to explain my problem with my dryer and literally had insulting comebacks for most of what I said. This company is contracted with our home warranty insurance so we already knew it was going to be a process to get any repairs done and paid for, but I have never experienced such rude customer service.
They claimed they couldn't find anything wrong so they charged us a service fee and left. We most definitely would not have had a problem if they truly couldn't find anything wrong, but the way they handled themselves was truly horrific and they should be embarrassed at their behavior. The main guy that actually spoke was named Ely I believe and he must be the boss's son otherwise I could not even imagine how he still has a job. There are plenty of other electricians that would be happy to help I'm sure. My suggestion is just pass right by Rite Way and go elsewhere.

I clearly did not have the experience these other Yelper's have had. Mine has been an absolute nightmare. When the (2) electricians arrived. Jason (I believe his name was) the other may have been a friend tagging along. I have no idea. He didn't talk. He had a terrible attitude. It was Saturday and was very annoyed he had to be there and work and continued to tell me that.
He was verbally abusive. I felt threatened and uncomfortable. He literally pushed passed me out of my way. While I was attempting to ask him questions and explain what I would like to be done. Again, he was in a hurry it was the weekend. He barked at me that he was the professional and didn't need me telling him how to do his job. Mind you. he didn't even realize that a dryer legally requires a separate designated outlet and did not like that I knew this information and he did not.
At that point he began tossing things around and completely disrespected my business. His work was beyond shotty and remains incomplete to this day. This took place October/November. As the abuse was so extreme I did not allow him back to my establishment. The work he did I would not wish on anyone. I will now be paying to have it removed. Repaired and redone correctly.
It has taken me this long to right this review because it was quite traumatic. This work was done in conjunction with "John's Waterproofing" who actually hired this company on their behalf. Again, another nightmare experience. BEWARE! The owner never bothered to call me back for resolution. He literally put the conduit in the middle of the wall.
Where I have been unable to rehang the painting I originally had there. Then ran the conduit over draped fabric through the middle of the ceiling. Made a huge uneven hole blasting through another wall. As a professional this should have been done against the wall making it as aesthetically pleasing as possible. In my opinion he did this out of spite.
He also used my shampoo bowl as a step-stool which caused further expense as he twisted and turned it how he needed it. He left dust everywhere and drill holes and did not clean up anything. Again, this enrages me just thinking about it all again. Don't be fooled by the other reviews. Trust your gut. Make sure you are getting someone reputable. I would think maybe I got the one bad apple. but, the owner not responding. I can see why Jason would feel his behavior acceptable.

Wish I could give them six stars. I've used Right-Way Electric a few times. They're professional electricians, and do the job right, but always in the nicest and most generous way. The fact that they give prompt service and do an excellent job and are reasonably priced would be enough to warrant a five star. The thing that blows me away and makes me want to give them six stars is that they've gone over and above in some way every time I've used their services. Right-Way has really perfected the art of going over and above expectations.

Had a great experience with RTE. Electrician was very straight-forward in all regards. Came and gave us diagnosis for ceiling fan which hadn't worked since we bought our home in May. With our 20 ft ceiling it was a task and he did great! Attached new 6ft rod with a 68 fan. Took about 2.5-3hrs in the fan, then installed and ran speaker wires through our crawl space. Wiring took about an hour - he worked incredibly hard and as efficiently as possible. Kept his work clean and tidy throughout.
I would absolutely refer this company to others. From initial phone call, gal was friendly and assisted in all ways to set-up and confirm appointments. I even called from Home Depot to ask if we needed extra parts and she called me back quickly to confirm everything we bough was just right for our appt. Great experience through and through. Was roughly 100/hour but well worth it. Great, quick work.

Finding a good trustworthy electrician is difficult. We however had a great experience with Ryan. He seemed honest and helpful. He came and checked our ceiling can which wasn't working and have us an estimate for replacement. He worked really hard to put up the ceiling fan on out 20' high ceilings. He had to rent a huge ladder for it. He also ran my home theatre speaker wired through the crawl space and put plates on the wall for the wires to come out.
He stuck to the estimate and was very professional. He changed his show covers every time he went out of the house and even cleaned everything up after he was done. He was easy to talk to and made us feel Very comfortable through the process. We'll definitely use him for any future services without any hesitation.
