I've been without a light in my bathroom for months because I can't get local vendors to show up, as I'm just a residence and not a big money commercial location. Had an appointment scheduled with Kish today and they did not show up within the promised time. Wish I could say I'm surprised. Spoke to a super nice receptionist, Nancy, who noted that the tech had to go to a neighboring town.

She offered to check to see if he was en route but I did not have time. I took time off of work to be here for my appointment, and now have to try to reschedule, and will likely have to wait several weeks to get a new appointment. I have no confidence that they will even show up for that one, so why bother. Disappointed by another local vendor. Hometown La Crosse girl here, and this isn't what I expect. Five stars for your receptionist. One star for blending in with the other disappointments.

I can't say enough good things about this company. We have used their services multiple times and honestly I won't even contact anyone else. They just installed all new can lights, new bathroom fans, a new fan in the living room along with fixing a few bothersome electrical problems. Courteous, professional, timely and clean. Kish electric upgraded my electrical service, replacing multiple fuse boxes with updated breaker service. I am extremely happy with the work and the people at Kish. Roger came to my home and completed the quote for me and he was great, sending me the quote exactly as we had discussed. Jeff, the electrician who did the work was outstanding. Jeff took an ugly mess of multiple fuse boxes from the 1940s and replaced them with safe, reliable breaker service. Jeff was courteous, reliable, respectful and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Kish for any electrical work that you need to do.

I had a mixed experience on a recent Kohler Generator installation. Pros: Salesman was kind, prompt for the estimate appointment and made some good suggestions on his visit to my home. The work estimate was emailed promptly and pricing seemed fair. The installation team was on time, kind and helpful. Job scheduled and completed on time. Stopped at the office.to.pay the bill.

Prompt service, friendly office staff. Cons: As a new generator customer, I had a number of questions prior to the install. Most emails were promptly handled, one gave inaccurate information and a couple were ignored. I wanted the generator installed in a particular position to aim exhaust/noise away from the house. To be clear, I did not communicate this directly to the install team (I was at work when they came out), but the orientation of the wiring and conduit I trenched in was obvious to me.

When I called Kish at 11AM to speak with the install guys, I was told that the generator was already set. Frustrating. But again, I should have been more clear. Once the installation was completed, Kish wanted $250 to connect the unit to the internet. My research suggested such hardware and software was included and I explained that. After a lot of back and forth (I was called at work at the 11th hour.not the best time to hear this and make a decision) and eventually agreeing to the additional fee, I later got a call that they had "found the activation code" and it's all set to go. Frustrating. Summary, I'd probably do business with them again and would call them to bid a job.

As a customer, be prepared, do your research, ask questions and require answers. Communicate well. For Kish's part, I'd like to see a bit more attention to detail and a deeper familiarity with the product they are installing. Update: Since installation, We experienced our first power outage last week and the Kohler generator took about two seconds to start and reestablish power to the farm. Super pleased with it!

I contacted seven other electrical companies prior to getting a hold of Kish. None of the other companies called back or scheduled a visit to inquire about the work I needed done. Kish showed up three days after I called and did a fantastic job of getting the work done. I was very pleased with and impressed by the prompt response of the company.

I have been in the need of electrical work 2x since I bought my house 12 1/2 years ago with one being an emergency. I have used Kish both times and had excellent thorough service each time. The electrician who helped me during the emergency went out of his way to be accommodating and helpful!

Kish and Sons Electric is awesome very professional crew. They had a crew out to my electrical project within one day! Their work is top of the line would recommend to anyone who needs great certified electricians.

From installing a new run of outlets to replacing a full panel, we have always been very happy with Kish. Their residential estimating folks are great to work with and come up with well thought out ways to implement our ideas. The electricians are friendly, courteous, efficient and very tidy. They also come up with great ideas when working with ad hoc requests. We would not think of hiring anyone else for our electrical work.

Great group of guys to have work on your electrical needs! Accepted Roger's bid for updates to our electrical work in our office for our Macs! Job was done very quickly AND he even vacuumed for us! Highly recommend the Kish team.
