We were asked by Asplundh Tree Experts if they could use our yard to cut down some maple tree branches in our neighbor's yard since it would be more difficult from the neighbor's yard. Being good neighbors, we happily agreed to allow them access. Unfortunately, after completing their job, the workers left our yard a mess. Branches and leaves were scattered throughout the yard; there are holes in our yard from branches dropped to the ground; one of our bushes was crushed; our patio furniture and yard equipment that was in their way was not replaced; and even their trash was left on our lawn.

This was not how we had imagined them leaving our yard! We called their office the next day to request that they clean up - we have not heard from them since. The company employs inconsiderate employees and unprofessional company representatives.

Most are wonderful and do a great job. Here they rested, slept, didn't come all the way down to last pole which was mine. Branches get snow on and break wires. Also one employee got smart with me when asked to pull up truck so I could get up my driveway.

Call Asplundh if you want bad customer service and even worse work done at your home or business. Not to mention their drivers are ex cons and will try to run you off the road or hold up the fast lane. A company of bad children ran by children. Please go anywhere else. Would rate less if I could.

Asplundh showed up in our neighborhood to "trim" trees for our local electric company. We expected the usual trimming above the wires and a short section below. They cut entire branches, some with a 6-8" diameter all the way from the top to the bottom. Some branches were not even close to the wires and some branches were either perpendicular to, or at an angle inside the trunk away from, the wires/road.

At first I thought they were preparing for underground installation of wires. Nope. Not the case. We have lived in this house for over 30 years and have never had so much destruction for a "trimming." Those branches near the ground had provided privacy for our corner lot and we purposely never had them cut even though neighbors and local arborists have offered.

Now we either need to remove trees to put up a fence which will be costly for us, or deal with the lack of privacy. Not only did they cut from top to bottom, they left broken spikes from branches which is not healthy for the trees. Those spikes should have been cut with a saw close to the trunk to preserve the health of the trees. In addition to the hatchet job on the trees, the mess they left behind will need to be cleaned up in the spring.

Some of the pieces left behind are as long as three feet. We are over 70 and have to pay for our yard cleanup now which will take an additional hour or so next spring. Neither Asplundh nor our electric company notified us of this "trimming." They just came and hacked away. I would NOT recommend this company. Apparently they had the low bid and it's obvious in their work.

Asplundh "Tree Experts" were hired by OUC to do mass tree "trimming" in the downtown Orlando area. This company is a tree butchering company. They clearly know nothing about proper tree trimming. No consideration for vegetation and wildlife habitat they are destroying. They cut trees down to 3 feet from the ground and in some cases all the way down to the ground, all unnecessarily.

We have trees on our property for privacy. The removed the privacy when they didn't have to in order to trim away from power lines. They said, "OUC said to do all of these things." They are chainsaw-happy without any thought to what they are cutting and does it need to be cut. Also, they stood on my fence and broke my fence.

If there was a way to give a review without leaving a star I would! This company entered my street this morning and started to clear cut everything! It didn't seem to matter how small it was they just hacked it down! I understand that they were contracted my the power company to clear the lines of branches that are in danger of taking down a line, but small trees and bushes that don't reach the lines, are you kidding me!

Then to have the audacity to walk onto my property well beyond the power lines and begin to hack the branches of a tree that is in no danger of taking down a line angered me enough to run out there still in my PJs to scream at him to stop. When someone finally noticed me he came over and said they had sent mailers! I received no such mailer. He said they have to follow the specifications! What?! I asked if they plant to replace what they take and I got a no! These guys are no experts!

Had the Asplundh crew from Warrenton, Virginia come to my house to take down a 50 ft.tree on my property. The men who helped included General Foreman Steve Hosaflook, Safety Training Supervisor Tom Hodges, along with Gabe Vermillion, Robert Stuart, Jose Guillermo, Jose and Jesus Morales, Prophet Scott, Brian Hook, Erick Lemus, and Ronald Repreza. They were friendly, professional and careful with the tricky situation they had to endure.

As I was watching them I realized the job they perform requires a science and is dangerous. They were able to maneuver the tree around the live wires and bring it down slowly and without further damage to surrounding trees. I came to respect their knowledge and wherewithal in confronting this problem. I'm praying a tropical storm or hurricane avoids this area but if I sustain further damages in the future I hope this crew is directed to my house to help. Thanks guys. Robert Purcell. Came to write a review for people to be aware. I wasn't in the least bit surprised to find this company already has awful reviews! If this company comes to your house - KEEP AN EYE OUT. I will start off by saying that I didn't ask them to come to my house. They must have been contracted by one of the companies that runs power lines in the area. However, that doesn't really excuse the lack of professionalism as it's respectful to inform someone when you're intruding on their privacy and property.

Someone knocked on my door and I was ASLEEP. After waking up I hurried downstairs to find trucks driving directly onto my property, without permission, and setting up around a beautiful tree by my garden. So, I guess thanks for knocking but no thanks because nobody answered. I just observed at first trying to be patient and understanding of them maybe just doing something that HAD to be done.

Until they just started completely hacking away at my tree! I went outside to ask them why the were continuing to cut when they were already pretty far away from the power lines. I got an extremely rude and condescending response of "we have to go 15 feet". That would have been nearly the whole side of the tree and would have DESTROYED my garden with falling branches (to which they had no regard for).

I let the extremely rude employee know that they weren't given permission to be there and didn't disclose what in the world they were doing. They didn't say they'd be removing half of a tree. Needless to say, as soon as I said I didn't want them there, they left. AKA - they shouldn't have began without speaking to me. Then had the audacity to ask if I wanted them to clean up! HA! Noooo sir leave your mess, I have it covered.

Glad I walked out when I did or I'd have a completely destroyed tree and garden. Oh, and their huge truck tracks in my yard! They can come back when they work on their professionalism and I'd be happy to have a level headed discussion of what their work entails. Watch out for your trees, folks!

They were sent by Duke Energy to top out our Leland Cypress trees. They not only cut the tops out but took half of the limbs on the sides of the trees. Why they did that is beyond me! They were called about coming and fixing the trees. One man told us that he was not coming back to fix them. We had to file a complaint with Duke Energy to get them to come back.

They fixed them as good as they could but 7 out of the 10 trees died. I would NEVER get them to do any work for me! Beware because they do a horrible job and then will not come back and fix their screwups. The supervisor is a real jerk!

Every time they come to our property. They conveniently forget to do their job.this year they cleared the stuff near my power lines did a great job cleaning up the yard but they decided in my upper lot they would just drop a tree and leave it. I had to call them.oh and I would never hire them because they stood outside of my house for an hour and a half and just talked with the neighbor guy and it wasn't near lunch so I don't want to hear they were taking their lunch break.only one guy sat in the truck and didn't have anything to do with standing around talking. That was five workers all getting paid doing nothing

They are cutting down trees in my neighborhood. It is early April. They have killed baby birds & squirrels & destroyed their nesting. It doesn't take a high IQ to cut trees in late fall/winter when the babies have left the nest. Will NEVER hire them!

I want to give a shout out to the Asplundh tree trimers! I live in Jackson, MI and have seen them in action, I hope they get paid for the courageous job they have to do! It makes me dizzy to watch them high in the bucket, near power lines, with a chain saw cutting branches. They have left a clean work area with limbs cut neatly into useable logs, stacked against the tree.

I had to take my mom out and Asplundh trimmers where in her drive way working. They stopped right away, raked up the brunches, and moved their truck, I was also one of the lucky ones to receive some of the woodchips for my flower beds to keep the weeds down. I know that most people want to leave comments because of frustration of poor work, but this is a positive comment for all the hard work they are doing for us along M 50 and Blackman Rd in Jackson, MI!

(NO STARS) Duke Energy sent them to cut down a healthy tree in my backyard. They made such a mess that I don't know what to do. I can't afford to pay someone, so it looks like my disabled self needs to clean the mess. Check out the pictures.

I don't have any trees in my yard, but these jokers filled my yard with neighbor's branches. Never bothered asking permission. Just dragged large branches over my drive, over my yard, and stacked in my yard. They left a mess of twigs everywhere when finished. I complained by email and was promptly notified by a knock on my door. They would come back and clean up the twigs left on my lawn. Well, the job they did was so poor that I am still going to have to rake my entire yard myself.

I have several outdoor cameras, and upon review, one of their guys had relieved himself in my neighbor's yard next to their house. Disgusting workers. Disrespectful, and liars.

I'm in Montgomery County Md. and their crew was cutting up downed trees across the street from me on County Government property. My security system cameras are watching the front of my property and saw what they were doing all day. They are slackers! They stood around talking most of the morning. They stopped talking at 11:15 am to eat lunch.

Then they were sleeping in their trucks after lunch. I guess on a positive note, after reading some other reviews, they couldn't damage anything because they were not doing anything but snoring in REM sleep. Their pizza boxers are stacked up on the dashboard against the windshield while they sleep off their lunch. The company has to be price gouging the government in order to tolerate this lack of productivity.

To make it worse, it's Saturday and they are probably getting O/T pay as well. I would never hire Asplundh after I saw this. The company must not care at all! Duerma bien hombres

Butchers. As contractors for Georgia Power, they removed the entire backside of an oak tree on my property. No branches approached the power line. Used a remote saw to cut in half two trees on my property. They had to reach over my fence. They should lose their business license.

This company in GA, hired by our municipal utility company, did NOT send a notice of abatement by mail or anything to cut our trees (which is in violation of Ord. No. 2011-51(11-O-0136), § 3, 11-16-11), came at 9am Wednesday and used a jarraff tree trimmer to ride all over our lawn, we have an elevated area where they just ran through shrubs and smaller trees leaving a 5 foot plateau of flat land, cutting branches near power lines and left all the debris/tree branches on the yard (which is in violation of DOT FORM 413VEG SEC 4G).

Left a bunch of twigs and leaves on the driveway looking like an unkempt house for a couple days. THIS COMPANY IS TAKING SHORTCUTS! We own 1.5 acres, largest in our neighborhood, but they did work all around the neighborhood and did wood chipping for those, but not our yard for some reason. SO LAZY! And don't get me started on all their UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS, WAGES, and SAFETY VIOLATIONS which has been a RECURRING ISSUE since 2000! Had to call my Utility Company to make them comply with regulations.

They promptly emailed this company, and had a driver come by our house to tell us they would come and clean it up THAT DAY. I'm okay with them shearing one side of the trees to clear the power lines, but at least do the job without destroying all of the smaller vegetation that have no way of touching the lines and clean up after you leave 600 pounds of debris - almost completely filled their chipper truck.

Call your utility company for help if you have questions about your situation! They might not always be very helpful as they try to save face and avoid litigation, but always worth a shot - SOME people DO care!

I don't know what kind of knowledge anyone at this company has about tree care. None, is the impression I get. If you want a tree butchered, these are the guys to do it. From what I have seen, they are really good at killing healthy trees. Blindly lopping and hacking, stripping bark off healthy limbs and leaving fine trees to die in their wake If you have a tree you want to live, do not have these people come anywhere near it.

Asplundh was sent out to do tree work in our town of Riverton after last week's storm. They did some work at my neighbor's house on the street at the back of my yard. They dumped tree branches and leafed twigs in my yard on top of my young shrubs. Not cool, guys!

This trimmed my trees from the power lines, and absolutely hacked them up. I was promised they would be fixed the next morning, days later.nothing. Absolutely no respect for other people's stuff, looks like a third grader cut my trees. Horrible, stay away from this company. It's hard to capture how bad this job looks in the pics.

Four guys with 2 trucks milking the job! An Asplundh crew has been working in my neighborhood for the past 3 days. These guys are in no hurry whatsoever. The posted picture shows the results of 5 hours work for the crew of 4, barely enough trimmings to fill a pickup bed. The chipper ran for a total of 8 minutes to chip the downed branches. What a waste of our utility dollars! WE Energies needs to crack the whip. The word " EXPERT" in the company name is a far reach.
