I just want to start off this review by saying what a great job the electrician did troubleshooting a bad outlet in my living room. I want to thank Janet Hogstrom the general manager for scheduling the appointment for me today. The Electrician was very thorough and he also was very knowledgeable about the house electrical system. Thank you so much Foshay electric.
This discrepancy turned out to be me putting my motorized furniture in a surge protector. I know better than that. Thank God we have electricians to help us in a complex electrical world.

This company is the electrical contractor for my new home (via Beazer Homes in Oceanside). They installed a 4-Way Switch set up incorrectly. Mind you, two other electricians both agreed that it was incorrectly set up, one was an A/V electrician who was only called to set up the preinstalled by builder speakers who took a quick look to see if he could do it in the hour he had at my home and the other was the one I hired who fixed this stupid issue in under 20 minutes.
But let's go back to the the start. After calling into Beazer Homes, the builder dispatched their contractor. Enter Foshay Electric (or as I call them, For$hit Electric). They sent a useless, rude, and very unprofessional "electrician" to my house to evaluate the problem. They guy they sent showed up an hour and half after he was scheduled and started accusing me of tearing down walls (apparently I have a lot of spare time on my hands), tampering with the electrical, tampering with my doorbell, and removing a "wire" from the setup.
I was flabbergasted at the absolute lack of customer service and the fact that someone would accuse someone of such stupid things. Anyways. The "electrician" says he'll have to come back to fix it as he needs to talk to his boss and the builder and after an hour and ten minutes, leaves my house. Two days later, I receive an email -- not from the builder, but from the owner, President and CEO of Foshay Electric. Again, the unprofessionalism continues, where in his email states that I violated the home warranty by doing the things the "electrician" accused me of. Typically, you'd expect a phone call to discuss these kinds of things; you know, to make sure that your employee fully understood the problem and to validate such audacious claims. Second, I'm not their direct customers and my warranty is not through Foshay, but Beazer Homes, so let's watch our steps.
But for the type of email received and for whom it came from in the company, shows you exactly what kind of business this is: unprofessional. Now mind you, Beazer Homes hasn't been all that great in customer service either (ask any of my neighbors. One is still waiting 2 months for a replacement refrigerator that was delivered damage at move in. but I digress).
Word of mouth is powerful Foshay, and it's usually a good thing to know who you're doing business with. As an executive myself with a resort development company for the last 5 years, I will be sure to spread the word to avoid bids from this company at every mixer, industry event and meeting I have the opportunity. I hired a real electrician, one who's license doesn't have multiple violations like this place has had, who fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. $135 well spent to never deal with this terrible company again.
Of course, makes me wonder what the hell Foshay's "electrician" did for over an hour. Or was it just a ploy to not stand by your work and pay an actual electrician? Avoid Fo$hit, I mean Foshay Electric. 70 years of doing business. Amazing they lasted that long. I'm sure the founder rolls in his grave at the disgrace of what this company is today.

This company installed an unreliable electric system in our new home (in conjunction with Pardee Homes - a terrible homebuilder). The circuit breakers trip for no apparent reason and when we contacted Foshay they told us to conduct electrical diagnostics. Really?! We are NOT electricians, yet Foshay wants us to diagnose their shoddy work. They are of no help in fixing a problem they created.
They will not take responsibility for their work. Very poor company to deal with. Unfortunately, this company also installed the electrical system in several other homes in our subdivision. These other homes are experiencing the same problem with unreliable service. Foshay and Pardee are the worst possible combination for the unsuspecting homeowner. Wish we could give both of them zero stars.

I would have given no star if possible. Very bad service and very rude people, I have installed fan and led ceiling light in my new condo. Both lights flicker, something is wrong with the switches they installed. When one of the lady called me to schedule call, she was so arrogant and rude while talking and at the end she decided that because my fan was installed by third party, warranty is void.
I did not receive any documentation when I bought house from Zypher that installing fan will void my electrical warranty. I would never buy service or home if these guys are installing the electrical. Possible stay away from them to avoid stress and bad quality.
