If you're building a new home, we can do all of the electrical work. Before the project begins, we will review the blueprints to provide a detailed estimate. Throughout the construction, we will work as a team with the other contractors to complete the project successfully. If you're remodeling your home, need some repairs, or want some electrical upgrades, we respond with professionalism and courtesy. We work hard to ensure your family's comfort as much as possible during the project. And we always clean up when we're done!
Are you insured? East West Electric carries liability insurance in addition to the bonding required of all licensed contractors. What areas do you cover? East West Electric covers all of San Diego County. How much do you charge for travel time? East West Electric never charges for travel time. What is your minimum charge?

David was very prompt, professional, and got the job done quickly for the price he originally quoted. I had him out to my home a little outside his normal service area but he got right to work and eased all my concerns. We wanted to move a few wires that were in the way of a kitchen remodel. Not to mention I was working from home at the time. David took care of everything quickly and exactly as we discussed. He made a stressful situation a breeze and for that, I thank you! I highly recommend David and I will be calling East West Electric next time.

9/23/19 Review Major electric problem at my place today. Problem was so remote I couldn't track it myself after hearing popping sounds ECT. Today is David S Dykstra's birthday - David of, East West Electric. I got in touch with him as he was on the golf course today at the beach - like I said, on his birthday. David as always very concerned of our electrical needs, took the time on his birthday to drive all the way out here and fix my problem! He was on the golf course! Thank You Lord for this guy! We hired David to do a significant amount of electrical installations and upgrades in a house we recently purchased. We were very happy with his work. He was easy to reach by phone and always showed up when he said he would. His work was high quality and he stood behind it; the few times he made a mistake he always corrected it right away. He was very honest, did exactly what he said he would for the price quoted.
The only small negative I could say is that he doesn't work quickly, but since he charged by the project and not by the hour this wasn't really an issue for us. We will definitely hire him again.

We just moved here and had an electric stove coming but our condo was only set up for gas. We had an electrician scheduled to come but never heard back from him, despite several calls from us. The day before the appliances were coming we called another electrician who gave us a $1000 quote after a discount. Dave was recommended to us and he came over that evening to do the work so our appliances could be delivered the next day and only charged us $200. We had him do more work for us and he was very reasonable and made suggestions to keep the costs down. We highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.
