I was amazed at how fast, professional, and fair priced this whole experience was! I wanted a range outlet installed, and the whole process from when they arrived to take measurements to when it was done was about two hours. Great value! I highly recommend Volz - they helped with some electric work at a new home. They were so professional from start to finish. I had my entire electric panel replaced as well as some other odds and ends and they were wonderful at the walk thru and during the two days of work. Ivan (who was the tech) was so polite and kind the entire time and even took time to sweep up the debris after he finished working. It's a great thing to see how much care went into every detail- and I feel better knowing my equipment is updated.

Volz did what I love a contractor to do. They showed up on time and completed the job requested.

I can ALWAYS count on Volz electric to come in and take care of any electrical issue I have with a property not only in a timely manner but for such a reasonable price! Definitely MY go to for repairs and code corrections and should be YOURS as well!

They do great work. They are consistent and can work on old wiring challenges as well as put in new wiring. Nice to work all around.

We've used Volz several times for various electrical problems in our new home - they've always been prompt, reasonably priced, and the work is outstanding and has held up beautifully! (We had a TV wired in above our fireplace and a breaker replaced due to poor electrical work from the contractor) We recommend them as often as we can!

Volz Electric has always been a solid company, they are a part of our neighborhood and has always taken care of all of our electrical needs. They are always fast, friendly and unlike other companies they actually clean up behind themselves. They recently installed a fuse box and ran new wires, they like always have done a phenomenal job and they are the only company that we will allow to work on our home. Thank you Volz Electric for being an honest, hardworking and trustworthy company.

Hired volz who gave us the cheapest bid, but buyer beware. Not a fan of the electrician who came out to do the rough in/replacement of our old knob & tube south city home. We hadn't moved in yet as we were remodeling the place leaving him w/ plenty of space & quiet time. Quoted a wk to do the initial portion. Fine. Homeboy, however got sick so the project took more like 3 wks (not convenient when you're working on the house & confined to doing so during daylight hours because you have no damn electricity!).

During that time span, he managed to scratch up the hardwood in the livingroom moving some items around, leave all the old wiring & trash all around the house (to this day I'm still finding wiring in odd places), & unevenly install can lights above the fireplace (it's only off a few inches, but I have to stare at that mistake everyday). I'd give this company 0 stars, but when we called to complain about the horrible work, they did send another electrician to do the finish work & he was much better. He cleaned up after himself, was prompt & courteous.

Ed came out the day after I called and set sleuthed out a job for putting a new junction box in a problem spot and mounting a security light. Calm, professional, and fast.

Do not use this contractor. Charged us for 2.5 hours of work but was only physically here for less than 1.5. Left to purchase simple part he should have had on hand and charged $80 for that hour. $300 for nothing. Problem not fixed. Says will charge another $60 trip fee to come back out again to try to fix original problem. We should have looked at the reviews first

Beware of the owner of this company (Tom Volz). If you do not accept his bid, and choose another company, he will contact your place of business and make up false accusations just for spite. He is not stable. Definitely not someone you want in your home, or workplace. I did try to make a report with the BBB Of St. Louis, but the company is not listed.

A dishonest and untrustworthy operation. The electrician came in to look into few issues on the new condo we had just purchased. He couldn't/wouldn't fix the two main problems, charged us $220 for spending 63 minutes on the property, and promised to write up an estimation of what it would cost to fix the problems. After two phone calls and 18 days later, we still haven't heard from him.

Dishonest and unreliable. We just moved to Saint Louis and on our agent's recommendation we called on these people to come and take care of some issue we had we the condo we had purchased. They did not return our call on time, did not show up on time, and when they did they were unwilling/unable to fix up the two main issues we had. They promised to write up an estimate of what it would cost to repair the problem. They charged us $220 for 63 minutes of work and we have yet to hear from them.
