Rosco Electric

Not happy with the service. Charged a premium for a small outdoor work, mentioned they are pricey but they do quality work, 3 months and the OutDoor lights don't work, multiple calls and not able to reach them, left voice messages and No call back even.

They sounded nice on the phone, sent a technician out who said Ameren had to re-attach the ceramic anchor to the house. Ameren placed the anchor so the weather head could not be straightened out. Rosco came out ti assess the situation, said " they scheduled Ameren", However, 3 months later and a dozen phone calls to Rosco electric and no answer, no return phone call, but they did take my credit card and charge me several hundred dollars FOR NOTHING. What does one call that? Taking money for services promised BUT never delivered, I call it a rip off.

Rosco responded quickly when we needed a few repairs done before selling our house. All of my interactions with Angela, Neal, and Amanzi were courteous, professional, thorough, and quick! Roscoe Electric came out and wired my hot tub, replaced a GFCI, and installed a shut off circuit. I am very happy with the work they did for me. Rosco Electric scheduled an in-home estimate with me for today between 2-4 PM. No one showed. I called at 4 PM, and no one answered and I haven't received a call or email and it is 9 PM. This is an inconvenience for me as I reorganized parts of my day to be home for the estimate, and it is unprofessional not to call or follow up by email.

Very good service overall and quick as well. They installed a new service line outside and salvaged my electrical box on the interior. There was an extra charge for a main breaker that was quoted separately, but the overall price was still very reasonable. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to friends. This was my third time having Neal come do various electrical projects at my house. He's a wizard with old houses and I'm always perfectly satisfied with his work. If all service was done by people like Neal, it would be a wonderful thing.

Rosco Electric is a great outfit. On a burning hot day in July, they came out and upgraded two fuse boxes to circuit breakers. Dwain worked quickly and efficiently and even scheduled the electrical inspection from University City. The next time I need an electrical repair. Rosco Electric will be at the top of the list.

I hired Rosco to install some bathroom exhaust fans and a few ceiling fans. Unfortunately, the bathroom fan installation was totally amateur. They were not connected to existing flexible ducting in my attic. So the bathroom fans were exhausting directly into my attic. I had to hire another contractor to come do the job properly. To be fair, the ceiling fan installation was fine.

Neal made quick work of diagnosing our porch light problem and fixing it. Building upon that success he replaced the broken laundry room ceiling pull-cord fixture with a new one. Reasonable price and on time. Everything is working now. Thank You Rosco Electric & Neal.

My wife and I recently moved to our first house and we needed to have wiring done for our electric range and hood. We called these guys and the gentleman that helped us out showed up in a timely manner for the estimate and the actual work. He was very professional and even educated us on how our electrical panels and circuit breakers work. If we ever need work done again, we will definitely have them to do it. Be sure to ask for Vishal, he knows his stuff.

Was very happy with Rosco's service. They helped us get some unpermitted electrical worked cleaned up and passed inspection. Only downfall was communication via phone, hard to reach someone other than phone answering service. BUT, their email communication was top notch so that made up for it. For a particular job that needed to be performed, this company's bid came in right about the same as two other competing companies. What I appreciated about Rosco Electric is that there were two ways to go about the job and have the same end result. Both of these procedures / estimates were given in writing via email, instead of verbalizing the second option to me, over the phone, as another company did. Naturally, it is always better when a customer gets it in writing.

I decided to go with Rosco. The technician they sent over was polite, informative, and thorough. If I had any questions afterwards, Rosco's General Mgr., "Vishal" was quick to call me back. Yes, I do recommend this electric company. FYI: they charge $80.00 labor rates per hour with a $120.00 minimum, as of March, 2018, and written bids for jobs that may take more than one or two hours.

When we moved into our new home, Rosco came to get our fuse box organized. It was a mess and looked like a rats nest. The electrician was professional and did a great job. We were pleased and will call them again for any future work we may need.

In regards to price and technicians, Rosco was great. We had to get a house sold, and they were able to work with us to get it all done in time. They just need more staff! They have 3 electricians and too much work. My sense is that they are trying to accommodate all the jobs, they get, but it instead makes them behind on when they say they'll get to your job. The work was good, the price was good. I'd recommend either contacting them earlier or contacting them for work that you have flexibility in regards to time.
