Yikes. I had a Kay Bee electrician out to help me figure out which of the cables in my basement ceiling were superfluous and could be removed (I live in an old house with a security system no longer in use, and I wanted to get rid of the wires from it that weren't in use). The electrician accidentally cut my Internet cable. I had to pay to have my Internet provider come out and put a new cable in.
When I asked for this price to be taken off of my bill from Kay Bee, I received a letter stating that I would not be reimbursed for this amount. The reason being that the electrician claimed I had asked him to cut all of the low voltage wires. Sad to say that that is not what I asked him to do, and very frustrating that Kay Bee won't take responsibility for their mistake.

No prices or estimates were given. at all. Never knew how much service would be until weeks later when the bill came. Had a slight issue with the work but the guys and their excellent customer service took care of it. The rate I received was $99 per hour and that's fine. However, I went to pay the bill and saw no options to pay on invoice. It was then that I found out that either you pay by check in the mail. or 3% (almost $10 fee) to pay by card.
Those were the only two options. Not only is it disappointing but it's very inconvenient being that I don't write checks and haven't been to the actual bank since the pandemic started due to health concerns. I would like to pay my bills the same way I always have, on time, and over the phone or electronically. Had I known this upfront, I would've searched around for a more transparent company.
But they didn't tell me anything upfront other than my appointment was 3 weeks out. Again, while there were a few inconveniences, the electrician's customer service was outstanding. This balances out to a average review. In my opinion, this is a good, reputable company. It could use more reliable communication though.

I had 3 can lights installed in kitchen, a outlet put in for microwave vent over stove, a ceiling vent fan replaced, and four 2 ft x 4 ft LED lights installed in my basment. The LED lights alone totally changed the look of my basement. The worker was professional and did an amazing job. Outstanding work, outstanding business!
