These guys did an amazing job with requiring some can lights in my basement. They knew we were in a time crunch and got people out as soon as they could've. Mark and his team were ver helpful and very fast. When I first called him about our issue he was nice enough to try to walk us through it ourselves after hours at no charge. Our problem ultimately required professional help and Mark worked us in his schedule the next day. Couldn't recommend them more! Thank you!

I'm counting my blessings right now. Last night, I smelled something burning in my bedroom, and started looking for the source of the smell. One of my outlets was smoking and it looked like there were flames inside of it. Yates electric came right out and replaced the entire outlet and did a thorough inspection of my entire house. They ended up finding 2 more issues that could have potentially caused a fire and took care of it. Thank you guys! God bless.

I had a quote from an independent contractor for $160, but he never called back. Called Yates because they've been around a long time, Well they talked me out of my original plan and into a probably less expensive job then charged me more than I was quoted for my original plan ($219). That wasn't so bad, except they left me with a small hole in the drywall and didn't have an oversize cover to hide it, so I bought one and now it barely shows.

Nice of you to assume it was because you wouldn't do something for free. Pretty sure it was an accidental rating, I didn't realize I had done when I went to get your number. My mom and grandma did business with Mark Yates for years. I believe my mom even said he did work with my grandfather but that was over 30 years ago. Yeah the prices might of been high for me at the time but I didn't expect the work to be done free and wouldn't give a company a 1 star rating just for that reason.

I found Yates phone number at 8:30 PM when a part of our electricity went out in the apartment. To my surprise a lady answered and I vaguely tried to explain the situation and that I thought I was looking at circuit breaker box with weird colorful knobs. She gave the phone to her husband and he asked me to text him photos of the box to try to figure out the issue.
This was also after I gave him my address and we figured out that he was no longer servicing the property under the new owners. He proceeded to try to work on the issue with me and even figured out which fuse needed replacement from the picture. Needless to say, my brief encounter with Yates was extremely pleasant and I was not even a customer. I am definitely taking the contact information when I buy a home to have these guys around. The world needs more companies like this.
