The team at Delta electric did a full aluminum to copper wire replacement on our townhouse and we couldn't be more happy. Ismael was very kind and patient with our questions and really went above and beyond on the job. Donna was helpful with scheduling and organizing the entire process from permit applications to inspection. We really appreciate all their work and would recommend them to anyone!

I had my house rewired from the knob and tube. The team was fast and very efficient. He walked me through all of the major decisions and gave me pros/cons for each option which was very helpful for me. Some things that i noted about the whole process that you want to keep in mind: - if you're on a time deadline, you want to factor in an extra day or so.
My job was estimated to take 2-3 days and it actually took longer, which was not a problem since them came back the following week to finish the job. They didn't leave anything exposed or out of service when they left - if your job requires any decision of equipment from them (light switches, can lights, ceiling fans, etc), make sure to review those options before the team arrives and get everything in writing. Overall it was a pleasure working with them and I would highly recommend this team

I needed to change my main panel from 200A with a 100A busbar to one with a 225A busbar and a service disconnect switch to support some Tesla Powerwall 2s and was referred by Clean Solar. Donna was really friendly and helpful with the entire process. She kept me in the loop with timely emails and calls and she was easy to talk to. She worked her magic to get PG&E to approve as quickly as possible and scheduled the city inspection which went smoothly. Derrick, who did the initial evaluation was friendly and answered all of my questions. Michael and his colleague did excellent work with the removal and install of the new main panel.
This was during the middle of a rainy day too! They even patched the stucco around to match exactly the surrounding texture. I was very happy with that especially. I will definitely use them again for any future electrical work.

The service by Delta electric was professional as well as great customer service by Donna as well as Derrick, Michael & Salvador who answered all my questions/ Michael who made the main panel easy too open and close and Derrick who explained from the start of the work about the main panel/sub panel etc. EVERYONE did a great professional job as well as clean up inside and outside. Donna's keeping in touch with F/U info/appointment's was excellent!

The ceiling light fixture above our stairway suddenly dropped down due to a bent swag hook that had been bearing the weight of the fixture. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I was needing someone to repair. After calling multiple electricians, I spoke with Derrick at Delta Electric. Not sure why I did not reach out to him initially as we are neighbors, but thankfully, he agreed to come by.
He wasn't available until early that evening, but I was impressed that he was even willing to come, seeing that it was the night before Thanksgiving. He, by far, is the most knowledgeable, professional, and courteous electrician I have had the pleasure to meet. Within an hour, he had accessed my attic in order to reattach the electric box, reattached my ceiling light fixture and installed a new swag hook. These guys are as good as it gets. I am very happy with the entire process of scheduling and the job performed. I needed help getting the team to make my home a smart home along with the installation of newer fans. They came in, single pole, installed 3-way and 4-way smart switches along with smart plugs. Derrick came along with Salvador and Michael and got the job quickly done, including installation of the dreaded neutral wire where required.
There was nothing they could not do! Team was extremely professional, courteous and reasonably priced. I am extremely pleased with the job performed and will be using them for all my electrical needs in the future.

Delta's employees are more competent and knowledgeable than management. This seems like a situation where the electricians are employed to take advantage of managements license. They installed A new panel and circuit to support a hot tub. However, they failed to scope out the job correctly and were going put the circuit by the water outlet until one of the electricians caught it.
They had to charge me more to move it but did not take ownership of the error so I had to split the cost. Also, management underestimated time required for installing low voltage backbone and hookup to existing LED's. Doubtful I would ever use them again.

Delta Electric is the company we will use for all of our electrical needs from now on. I give them my HIGHEST recommendation. They are GREAT! Donna provided the fantastic customer service and actually got us on the calendar within a couple of days. Derick was scheduled to show up at 2pm. He called instead and informed me that he was stuck on 101 North because the road had flooded and CHP closed it. Said he would be late.
Well they shuffled some things around because Michael and Salvador showed up just a little past 2. Michael was great he listened to our problems made a couple of suggestions based on experience. Then they went right to work. Wow! I thought they would have to come back with all of the items we needed and wanted done. They completed all of them that evening. We were very impressed with these guys and the expert professional work they did.

We had a very old breaker box that finally started having mechanical issues with the main circuit, leaving about a third of our house without power. I called Delta Electric on Friday and they said they could have someone out Monday to do a temporary repair and then they'd be able to replace the box itself in a couple of weeks. Monday morning two very nice gentlemen showed up, took one look at our box, and said it wasn't even worth repairing and that our money would be better spent just swapping it out now.
They quoted us a price that was lower than the averages we've seen for the same job, and then got to work. Later that day we had a huge new box, power back to the whole house, and they also fixed a couple outlets that had never worked since we moved in. Quick, professional, and reasonably priced! I would highly recommend them and will be calling them again if we need more work done in the future.

Written by my wife on her Facebook timeline: -- Just had an excellent experience with Delta Electric! These guys were here earlier than expected. They checked out the issue I thought I was having and instead of going with it and charging me tons of money (another company told me over 10 times the cost!). they told me the truth -- that there was nothing wrong other than not being the top of the line parts.
When I asked them about adding an outlet they said no problem, and since they were booked for the next two weeks they said they would go ahead and do the job right now! Even though they were not prepared to do so and had other calls to make today. Totally awesome! -- Thanks Delta, you definitely earned our recommendation to all of our friends, family, and co-workers.

I will call on Delta Electric again in a heartbeat when I need help; highly recommended in all aspects; service, response time, price, friendliness, quality, timely work - everything! Everyone from Donna coordinating from the office or Derrick and his crew out in the field was a wonderful experience. I couldn't be happier with the work that Derrick and his crew did! Delta Electric accommodated my tight turn; their team enabled me to get my yard (lighting, pond, hot tub) up and running for an event over the weekend just two days later.
I hadn't been able use my outdoor lights in over a year and my circuits kept cutting out and needed to be split out. I had no idea if I needed a new sub-panel but Derrick came out and gave me a free estimate and was very creative with doing just enough changes to accommodate my house and my budget. I am so very grateful! Thanks Delta Electric!

These guys are simply the best! Derek is SUPER responsive and a great guy. We had him redo most of our electrical and he was easy to work with, delivered great work at a very reasonable price. He also made recommendations on other things we could do to make the house/project better. Amazing. Even better, we had a power outage and I called Derek because it was isolated to our house (as far as we could tell).
Immediately the guys showed up and figured out it was an issue w/ the power lines and recommended we call PGE immediately.come to find out, there was an issue w/ the lines to the pole we couldn't see but impacted a few houses on the block. Knowing there is an company like Delta around makes me know if I need anything they'll take care of me. I'd rate them a 6 if I could. Fantastic

Delta Electric just finished installing under the counter LED lights in my kitchen. What a great job Derreck and his two able electricians did! All were knowledgeable and careful of my cabinets full of dishes and condiments and even moved things around so I did not have to do much preparation before they arrived. I think the price was very competitive, however I have no idea since Delta was contracted via my usual contractor, Paul Carrillo, Construction. Thank you Derreck and the guys for brightening my day and my KITCHEN!

Delta Electric installed recessed lights in my kitchen ceiling. They kept burning out and I learned they had installed the wrong kind of fixtures. The insulation in my attic was causing the fixtures to over-heat. I called within the month (one year warranty on this job) to report the problem. They set up a time to come over and fix the problem but never showed.
I called back, set up another appointment, they never showed. After this, I couldn't even get them to answer the phone. They do not honor their warranties, so beware. They did other minor work in the house and did a good job and the price was excellent. But beware of shoddy workmanship, and the warranty is a joke.

Derek and Michael came to update our circuit breaker box before we had our kitchen remodeled. They were friendly and easy to talk to & willing to answer questions about what they were doing. They also put in the lighting for our kitchen remodeling. They did a great job - quality work, fast and efficient. Got a fairly decent & competitive price for the work to be done. Liked using this place b/c they are licensed and are more knowledgeable than who the general contractor would use (usually their electricians are not licensed).
